Don't recall Miller getting one. A few braces though. Think Magilton is the last one. Prior to that, was probably David Gregory.

we had it drummed into us for so long that a CM can only preform one role and should accept that, that seeing two of them play like they did tonight seems like witchcraft

We’ll be good again... one day

Didn't Keith Andrews get one or did I imagine that?

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Whilst we are on this topic. The last time a Central Midfielder got a hat trick away from home (unless corrected) was Nigel Gleghorn when we won 4-3 at Bradford in 1986.

This 1986 fixture took place at Bradford Dukes speedway track due to the Bradford fire happening the year before. Today it's the home of Bradford Bulls.

I found one in a friendly but can't think of any in competitive matches.

Crawley 1-5 Town 24th Jul 2007 23:26
Town ran out 5-1 winners at the Broadfield Stadium against Blue Square Premier League outfit Crawley Town. A hat-trick from Tommy Miller and two from Alan Lee saw off Crawley in a fairly bad-tempered clash. 0

Didn’t Keith Andrews get one at Barnsley and saved Jewell’s skin for a month?

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Scored 2, not 3

EDIT: and also saved Jewell’s bacon for 10 months, not 1. Ugh!

I remember Royles first full season (03/04) we had a 6-1 v Burnley and a 6-4 v Crewe.

Both at home, no hattricks involved.

Couñago (2), Wright, Chris Bart-Williams, Chaplow (o.g.), Kuqi

and

Miller (2), Kuqi (2), Reuser, Couñago
