Would like to apologise for this mornings post and to those within.

Regardless of what goes on behind closed doors isn't am excuse to be a dkck myself.

I think there's a few I socialise positively well with on here so I'd like to keep that going but will read the room before posting. I'll certainly refrain from live in game posting which I think has caused the most recent issues.

We are all town fans. And we are all on here to discuss football in a positive light and constructively discuss negatives. But there is a way to do it, which I've failed at.

I understand what have been my faults and appreciate what we are all here to do.

I'd like to move forward so this is a request from those I've had run ins with, if we can, without the need to revisit previous posts, it solves no purpose and will ensure going forwards we are all going in 1 direction, I can't post how you wish me to post if I'm having to counter old arguments, can we draw a line under it all..

Anyways. As town fans.we are about to enjoy the ride of our lives ( well since 2000). So I'm in to enjoy it with everyone.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

I don’t post very often, but I enjoy reading a lot of threads. It does seem to get a bit unnecessary quite often. This seems a very sensible and considered post. Hopefully people will respect it.

All the best to you and yours, CM, at what must be a very trying time.

Glad you've taken on board some constructive criticism as far as your previous posting is concerned, and happy to admit that I've been a little (or maybe very) harsh with you at times, but I honestly mean you no harm.

Happy to bury the hatchet and move on as Town fans all hoping for success this season.

Again, wish you all the best. Take care of yourself.

P.S. But you were right about one thing this morning: Me, Stokie and Herbs are all dickheads.

I didn't see the post, but fair play for apologising if needed.

I was replying to the fist thread when it was pulled. From my point of view, I sometimes use Town as an outlet for annoyance and aggression as it’s an easier one than more ‘serious’ aspects of life. It’s a form of deflection but I can take it so far. At the same time, there’s a difference on deflecting towards the club as an entity and individuals, or posters here, and it’s a fine balance to get right. Sometimes I get it wrong, more towards those at the club than on here.

If you need to talk we, as a community, are here to listen and I’ve seen loads of people come forward and receive great support and advice in response. Embrace that side of the forum and hopefully things will be easier, through listening if nothing else.

Look after yourself.

I was a bit worried about your post this morning which was a bit out of order and not a good look so glad to see this and your apology.

However I do think you get unfairly targeted at times. No matter how much someone disagrees with you or how ridiculous they think your opinion on something it doesn't warrant the abuse you've been on the end of sometimes.

You do rub people up the wrong way so to speak but people can and should ignore it if it gets to them that much.

You're clearly a big fan and your heart is in the right place. I read your posts and like your enthusiasm and when you post things that i just think are a totally ridiculous or i can't agree with (Edwards being useless, Coulsden playing wing ahead of all our attaching options ;) ) then i just ignore it or say it's rubbish imo without any vitriol.

All the best to your family and hope things get a bit easier.

I did not see the post this morning so can't comment on that and no doubt we don't need to. From what you alluded to I hope you can look after yourself and whatever is happening in your life currently.

Never had a run in with you personally and at time felt others were being a bit harsh as I believe I called out at the time. I'd hate to see you go down the Bluefish route because I do enjoy your contributions and enthusiasm. As you say we are all Town fans and no matter what we should support each other and listen to each other more.

Focus on the "behind doors" and stay with us. Let's all enjoy the journey which is supporting ITFC through the downs the ups etc. Supporting Town is definitely a rollercoaster let's not get too low or too high...ride the waves.

I've not seen anything at all of the board today, just got in from work and opened it up. Of course one of your threads is at the top of the board again!

I'm joking.

I've never had any problem with you at all, don't agree with you all the time but you're generally happy to try and justify what you're saying and that's fine by me. I think you and a couple of people do tend to knock heads a bit and it's probably the people involved that has cast one or two other's opinions.

Enjoy the ride mate, there will come days when we're all celebrating promotion(s) and none of this will matter to anybody one iota.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

There are sure to be a few more bumps in the road between now and May just enjoy the ride. Remember if your post is a little dramatic there are those who will target you, a sad situation but unfortunately true.

While you are feeling under external pressure, rather than posting direct on to here, construct your post elsewhere and cut and paste. That applies to responses to others as well as any thread you create.

We are at the start of a journey and lets hope it lasts well beyond this season.

I didn't see your post this morning.
We have had a cross word or two in the past, but I think we are good now. I apologised at the time and I am happy to do so again. Sorry for any offence caused. It should have stayed in my head.
Fair play to you for posting this tonight and I hope everybody listens to you and we can all move on. Hopefully your time on here will be a happier one from this point onwards.

Obviously, in private, I will still think of you as a plank.

Hat off to you for listening to others & being prepared to amend your posting where the criticism's justified (which as others have said doesn't always seem to be the case).

Sorry to hear about your family situation, best wishes to them and you on that.

I think it's fair to say that many or even most on here are having to deal with some sort of "back issues" in their lives, whether family stuff, illness, work or financial issues etc. Sometimes people do need to vent, but a count to 10 before lashing out and kicking the cat ain't a bad idea! (general point, not specifically aimed at you CM).

Remembering others are often going through difficult times behind the scenes, & posting more kindly with that in mind, would de-stress this place considerably I feel.

Peace n lurv to all
