I know it’s not obscure in the US, but I really like baseball. I saw a game in the US 30 years ago and loved it.
Rounders with a lot of stats. I used to love it when I first moved here. Went to many many Cubs and White Sox games. Now rarely watch it live or in TV. Essentially got bored with it. It’s a slow game and not a lot happens for a large part of the game.

For about a term and half Kabadi was the go to school yard game as child.
Then stuck in the mud made a come back and ruined it

Where do you rank Aussie rules then?
I’m absolutely obsessed with Aussie Rules. By far my favourite sport full stop. In fact, not really watched the last 3-4 weeks of English soccer once Ipswich weren’t going to make the play offs because the Aussie Rules season is in full swing.
I don’t think it’s really shown much in the UK. I think BT sport may have one game a week.
Helps that for the first time since 2015 my team (Fremantle) are playing well and are towards the top of the league. One of the great things about AFL is it’s very much like a lot of US sports, with a national draft, salary cap, limited player movement - trade currency is draft picks or players (not ££) so if your team is well managed you will have 4-5 seasons out of the top of the league but you can rebuild your squad and get back into contention.
Games are staged from Friday evening until Sunday PM and every game is shown live if you sign up to the streaming service. You can literally spend the entire weekend watching live games.
Only minor criticism is that from start to finish a game lasts around three hours - so it does eat into a lot of time.
