If you look, that requires Wednesday win all theirs, Plymouth win all but one which is a draw (because that would mean had we won all ours we would have pipped them!), Barnsley and us draw with each other and win all the rest. It is still touch and go whether Wednesday hit 100 points. No one else will.

Well yeh, and my predictions were pretty scattergun except for Town's, and I think we need exactly that, to win seven and draw two. Which is somewhat hopeful, but not improbable based on current form. Meh, we'll probably draw the next two then lose one innit :)

I’d start a petition to have the club folded if we actually hit 100 Points 100 Goals and didn’t go up.

We would go up ... through the play-offs. 13-12 on penalties. Barnsley would need to be folded instead after Nors missed his second penalty to decide it.

I still hold firm that it would have been better for Sheff W to have beaten Barnsley - what has happened now is an increase in the variables.

My final league table on 12:59 - Mar 23 with 2568 views | Oldsmoker | So, looking at all of your predictions there is a slim chance - but it's a really, really long shot - that League 1 could get a mention on BBC Football Focus between now and the end of the season.

My final league table on 13:15 - Mar 23 with 2473 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Have just done the predictor but there are a lot of variables in play still. I make it that Shrewsbury, Exeter, Peterborough and Derby will all have a fair bit of say in it. Is it too much to ask Bristol Rovers to be a derby match and for them to take a point away from visiting Plymouth? I have it as: Wednesday 97 +43 Town 94 +50 Barnsley 94 +40 Plymouth 92 +29 I am always overly optimistic of our results so here is hoping we do better this time. If anyone misses out on 90+ points, they will have been desperately unlucky.

I really don't get this school of thought. To go up automatically we have to hope that the teams above us drop points (no matter if that's Wednesday or Plymouth), this is out of our control but has happened and people think it's a bad thing! Barnsley can only go level with us if they win their game in hand, we are still to play them so this is in our control. If we want automatics we just have to concentrate on what we can do, hope that at least one of the teams above makes a hash of it and not worry about what those below us can do.
My final league table on 13:23 - Mar 23 with 2423 views | SlippinJimmyJuan | An optimistic view... Ipswich Town 102 (only 95 goals though) Sheffield Wednesday 98 Plymouth Argyle 93 Barnsley 90 Bolton Wanderers 83 Derby County 77

Ipswich Town ...............98
Barnsley .......................96
Plymouth Argyle ..........96
Includes draws for us at Barnsley and Peterborough, the rest wins.
Fairly bullish results for the others too.
Which goes to show we can do it!

A draw would have been best, four points dropped by our close rivals instead of three. Going to Oakwell when they are on fire, have extra motivation because they lost out in 2000, and now even more motivation due to the ridiculous take by a few of their fans that ITFC somehow conspired with the JFA/our FA to get our game there postponed, means this fixture is as unlikely to yield 3 pts for us as any other this season methinks. Much as I wish/hope I'm wrong

A better take but still wrong The more points dropped by teams above the better, we are running out of games and need the teams above to drop as many as possible, preferably a soon as possible to add more anxiety to their games. I watched the SW vs Barnsley game and I think we can beat them if we're on our game, we just need our defense to have one of their better games as Barnsleys attack looked sharp. Other than that they didn't look that special and I also think their pitch will massively suit our game.
My final league table on 14:25 - Mar 23 with 2147 views | Kievthegreat | Not too dissimilar to mine: Sheffield Wednesday 102 49 Ipswich Town 98 52 Barnsley 98 44 Plymouth Argyle 98 35 I Reckon the tallies will be lower because 3 teams tying for 2nd on 98 points is crazy.
