Morsey for my POTY on 18:59 - Apr 17 with 1219 views | Nthsuffolkblue | Morsy has been immense. Not least his ability to restrain when he was 1 booking away from a suspension and to guide Humphreys through games. If Broadhead had been with us and playing as he is all season he would have it, I am sure. I went for Chaplin but I think Woolfenden is worth a mention too. What a contrast to our relegation season and trying to pick one!

That's how I see it, which is quite scary for you . Appreciate Chaplin has been scoring goals for fun this year but Morsey is by Swansea_Blue 15 Apr 2023 19:17Chappers for me. He’s the difference between us having a shot at auto promotion or not. And it’s not that long ago that people were moaning about how underwhelming Morsy was being. It’s been a long season and he hasn’t been as consistent as some are now trying to say. Although, in fairness to him he was having to pretty much carry the midfield on his own for a while.
Either are worthy though. It’s fine margins and both have been immense (plus Leif and a late entry from Broady, but that probably wouldn’t be fair).

These were my three contenders but I eventually went for Chappers. Nice to have so many to potentially vote for positively rather than trying to work out who had been least crap, as in the Evans years!
Morsey for my POTY on 22:23 - Apr 17 with 1028 views | BigCommon | Morsy for me, too... He's indispensable. Can't imagine where we'd be if he'd of picked up an injury or suspension... Chappers is having a wonder season. But if I had to leave one of him or Morsy out of the side. Then I think we'd cope better without Chaplin. Simply due to our depth in that area.. Utterly laughable that people had a pop at him at BR. Even though there was frustration at team results, at the time. Obviously, huge shout out to Leif, too. It's really, really, really hard to split them, tbf. But we saw Greg Leigh come in and do well for Leif.. Just don't think we've got that kind of cover for Morsy, even with a bloated squad. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Morsy has been exquisite since Luongo came in beside him but he wasn’t at the current POTY standard prior to that. I went for Chaplin. My issue with your point is that you think Morsy deserves the accolade because he didn’t pick up that 10th yellow card before the deadline. It was his own indiscipline that put him in that situation, and that’s not a reason to vote him as POTY.

I’ve been banging on about it but I think Leif just shades it. He’s solved our lack of attacking threat down the left side and inability to score set pieces, our two biggest weaknesses from last season.

I think Davis is our best player, he's absolutely brilliant and exactly the type of player you want in that position. That being said, I voted for Woolfenden for POTY because I think he has been the cornerstone of a brilliant defence and allows us to play out from the back when we want to and to be able to squeeze the pitch when are attacking because of his recovery pace. He was a player who was pretty much out of the door at the start of the season and now looks like one of most valuable assets.
