Little League One Ipswich 09:48 - Nov 8 with 5149 views | yorkshireblue | The Leeds fans I work with seem to have all come out of the wood work today... it's almost as if they have secured promotion last night judging by some of the comments. I didn't get this much grief after they actually beat us.... And whilst you take what you see on social media with a pinch of salt, it's the same story over there. Bless them, big bad Leeds being rattled by Little League One Ipswich (as one colleague just referred to us as).

Little League One Ipswich on 11:37 - Nov 8 with 4316 views | gainsboroughblue | I think we've gone beyond that 'Good on 'em, they're doing amazing' and 'I'd like to see them go up' stage. We're now seen as an irritant who needs putting in their place and it's assumed we are going to free-fall (even out of the top 6 according to some) as the season goes on.

Think we gave our manager a five year contract for achieving that.

Little League One Ipswich on 13:18 - Nov 8 with 3919 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | They also seem to be forgetting that, they are going to drop points as well... They are a good team, a very good team to be fair. And if I was a betting man, I think they will finish above us. But they seem to be in the state of mind that they are now going to win every game and take us by xmas.

Little League One Ipswich on 13:28 - Nov 8 with 3872 views | ChampionsofInnsbruck | Didn't they also struggle to get out of League One for a number of years? Have they forgotten that one? Reading most Championship fans comments, we're "not much" "bang average" "will collapse" and "over rated" and I am very happy with that. I hope the players and managers also feel exactly the same. I think the real question is, if we beat them at Leeds, will they embarrass themselves and try charging the away stand and act hard behind a wall of police this time as well? Given their budget compared to ours the fact we're still a way ahead in November shows just how well we are doing.
Little League One Ipswich on 14:08 - Nov 8 with 3747 views | thatbdude | I hope Leeds is this seasons Sheff Weds. Another Yorkshire team with an entitled fanbase who overtake us but collapse right at the last minute securing us automatic promotion along with Leicester (this seasons Plymouth who just end up running away with it). Leeds go up via playoffs. Hopefully next season we continue to push above our weight and win our 2nd league title and become champions of England once again, Leicester get on fine and finish in a respectable 11th, and Leeds just completely collapse and break Derby's record finishing with only 4 points A crazy dream but who knows

Why not? They were promoted as Champions - I'd be delirious with joy at that.

I was referring to our supporters, as opposed to the team.
Little League One Ipswich on 15:45 - Nov 8 with 3463 views | textbackup | We’ve seen a team mess up a large points gap, in our favour… However, we sit 8 points ahead of them, this means we need to lose 3 and them continue to win, to overtake us. Yes it could happen, but they’ll drop points, as will we. Unsure why they seem massively confident that it’s happened already.

And if we win on Saturday we are going to be at least the same number of points ahead of them as we were before the last international break - despite us apparently starting to collapse and them being outstanding. [Post edited 8 Nov 2023 15:54]

Leeds must be comfortably the largest city in the UK with only one professional club, too? Even worse when put into context.
Little League One Ipswich on 16:05 - Nov 8 with 3354 views | Swansea_Blue | They're a good strong side. I'd be very surprised if they don't go up, although I've got no idea whether it'll be in the automatics or POs. it's quite bizarre to last season be getting the ire of Sheff Wed fans and this season Leeds. Bit of a step up and shows we're making progress. Not that Leeds are what they were of course, but they've got a cracking team for this division and are just starting to get going.

Plus Wakefield is right on its doorstep (pop 300k) which itself has no professional football club.
Little League One Ipswich on 16:23 - Nov 8 with 3267 views | Churchman | Presumably Little Leeds don’t mind being referred to as such by the likes of Newcastle, Sunderland, Manchester clubs, Liverpool, Villa etc etc. Tools. Anyway, who cares what they or any other clubs’ fans have to say. We just need to take care of our business.

I believe Leeds is the second biggest city in Europe with only one professional football team behind Naples, and Wakefield is the biggest city in the UK without one?

Do you ever stop to think... "What if chickens could count themselves" It would save us the trauma of having to make that decision. I'm all for the idea of chickens being trained whilst still inside the egg so by the time they come out their Key Stage 2 level arithmetic will be able to solve the issue of counting chickens too soon
