Do you know if the Greaves medical has taken place and we are just waiting for the Philogene deal to be completed so it’s announced as a double signing? Seems to have gone quiet on Greaves after it being all but done on Sunday. [Post edited 9 Jul 2024 8:07]

I don't think it is about it being announced as a double signing, but the Greaves deal just gives us a good bit of leverage - Hull want this concluded quickly to plan their season. We are the only team in for both of them, if we complete on Greaves then they can take JP back to a more open market which we don't want so we can play harder over Greaves as they need that one done and only have one option | |

I wonder if we are offering a bit of a 'jiggery pokery' benefit (for want of a better phrase) in the double deal, i.e can manipulate the numbers a bit in a way that suits Hull in terms of sell on clause to Villa and/or FFP with Greaves being pure profit for FFP. | | | |
