What has a presenter or pundit previously playing the game got to do with anything? Knowledge, personality and character are far more important. Most ex pros don't think they need to do any prep work as they just live off their experience, which usually has naff all to do with what is currently happening in the game, and mostly the only in depth knowledge they have is of teams they have previously played for. | | | |

Awful decision. Worst presenter I've seen on TV in a long time, sport or otherwise. I didn't know she was a nepo baby until today, but now it's clear that's how she got a presenting job in the first place. Primary qualification for the role should have been wit, and Kelly Cates is completely devoid of any. Plus she can barely read the autocue, the number of enunciation mistakes she makes is awful. You can sense the Sky Sports pundits alongside her are embarrassed about how unprofessional she is. Now it's hobson's choice during major tournaments: adverts or a banal, prosaic presenter.
