Agreed. Peterborough away is often overlooked. A proper derby day (of sought) for some of us.

I think I would put Coventry in May 2024 instead of that Hull game but largely agree. Barnsley was the one for me, the sense that after so many years of coming out the wrong side of just about every big moment we were finally going to do it and get promoted again.

The atmosphere at Barnsley was amazing. The "Blue Army chant" when there was a break for injury still sends shivers up the spine.

Yep same. Especially as it was set up to be a really tense, tight game (it did start that way) and we ended up being so much better than them.

I wanted to include something of a classic McKenna performance and Hull was the one that came to mind. I'm not sure I enjoyed a single minute of being at that Coventry game but it was obviously momentus. We have been privileged to have so many to choose from in the last four or so years.

I bought a ticket for the initial fixture, when it was rearranged I thought I'd have to miss it. Eventually managed to sort out the time off work so I could head up with the 5,000+ other Town fans, one of the best football-related decisions I've ever made.
| Your 5 favourite wins under Kieran McKenna on 11:33 - Mar 6 with 2168 views | _CliveBaker_ | Agree with 4 of them but I'd have to have Huddersfield in my top 5, can't have the premier league promotion winning one out of it. Probably ranks ahead of Chelsea for me, but notable mentions for Spurs being the first PL win in over 20 years and Chelsea was a special night. Others that come to mind are Hull at home in the promotion season purely for the performance, albeit was too early in the season to rank as high as a lot of these. When you think of it the only difference between Luongo's late winner at home to Blackburn and the Bristol City win was the stage of the season. Cov away, Burgess winner, 1 foot in the Prem. That was on a par with Barnsley as an away end. Norwich this season, monkey off our backs but in terms of importance (aside from rivalry) its way down the list. Port Vale was mega at the time, and a few of the other aways like Peterborough, Bolton, Derby. [Post edited 6 Mar 11:35]

| Your 5 favourite wins under Kieran McKenna on 12:04 - Mar 6 with 2031 views | Churchman | 1. Ipswich 2-0 Huddersfield. When Burns scored, it was over. We’d done it. What a moment. 2. Ipswich 3-2 Southampton. Scenes. Chaplin sprinting. 3. Ipswich 6-0 Exeter. Out of the League One swamp 4. Ipswich 3-1 Norwich. Bye bye 8000 years without beating them. 5. Ipswich 2-0 Stoke. A peculiar choice but it was the first home game of 23/24 and it told me we’d have a good season. This selection is just games I’ve attended. For those I’ve seen only highlights or tv full match, Spurs away, Barnsley, Derby, Peterborough and this season Coventry away especially would all be in the mix. Chelsea? I did attend that and enjoyed it, but somehow knowing we were so far off competing overall that season took the edge off it for me. Of games we didn’t win, the standout for me was the 2-2 v West Brom. They were better than us for much of it, but we climbed into the game and the last 15 mins or so threw the lot at them. Such spirit. It is what football is all about. | | | |

Didn’t one of the Barnsley vlogs capture some of that Blue Army chant?
