He's excellent at passing and shooting. He's certainly not slow (he's just not explosive fast). He needs to do .ore without the ball and improve in that area | |

Some of them are really easy passes too. There was one where he just needed to pass 10 yards inside to Mehmeti and instead just played an awful pass to no one.

It’s the basics, as you say. Easy passes, putting a shot on target and not sending it over the bar. Retaining the ball under no pressure. He looks absolutely miles off the level.

When he beat his man on the outside that one time it quickly became apparent why he rarely attempts it, because the pace isn't there to capitalise on stealing a yard off the defender. Very difficult when you're missing that burst of speed. | | | |

He’s a young kid and as long as he’s wearing a town shirt we’ll all be hoping he comes good.
Think our set up/structure is just off today as Furlong doesn’t give you too much going forward, Sindre always wants to cut in onto his left foot, while on the other side both Johnson and Clarke want to cut back onto their right. Means we’ve had very little width attacking the outside. Hopefully Wes changes that completely in this half! |  |
