Actually thought he was decent tonight. Sure he could have done better with the first one, but it was a helluva hit and probably caught him by surprise. After that he handled the ball well, distribution was decent, made a few nice saves.

Good game really.

Everyone entitled to their opinion and respect yours.

But first ten minutes cost us. Defence and keeper not good enough.

That first goal … went through him. Very poor.

He was okay after the goals … but too little too late for me.

Near post saves are basic goalkeeping he gets enough on it to save thst and 2nd he rushes too far out hes not been convincing so far liverpool didnt need to try after that damage was done

He has conceded goals at his near post and didn't look good from the penalty he faced but I am not writing him off because of that. Give him time to see how good he is. Let's not write him off after 3 matches (one of which we won).

I like him, had a lot of saves to make first half and I genuinely think that first one was just hit far too well. Don't think many keepers would have saved that.

Looks slow on the ball but that's clearly a tactical thing, and he didn't do much wrong in terms of passing did he?

Can throw the ball, kick long. Picked out O'Shea a couple of times nicely.

Be nice if the crowd doesn't grind him down after a couple of iffy moments like we did Muric.

Dear god, he lost us the game in the first 10 minutes. How can that be decent…?

2 horrific pieces of goalkeeping to cost us the game. Decent apart from that.

Poor for both goals. Recovered well mentally and solid for the rest. Yo could fairly say the damage was done though. But he's relatively young keeper and he's had a few ups and downs.

If people pile on and learn nothing from the Muric situation then that's on us though.

He should've had stronger wrists and faster hands for the first. F00k knows why he's off his line for the 2nd. Apart from that he was note perfect.

I struggle to see any redeeming features of him thus far. He's not even trying to dominate his box like Muric did.

Scherpen and the right back situation are serious issues already.

In real time level with it, Isak’s hit was superb and taken very quickly. It took me by surprise so I’ll not go in too harsh on Scherpen. Keeper bring the last resort and if you get that far the team has already failed, etc.

No. It wasnt down to the keeper. The goals were down to the central defenders not doing their job to the degree that is required at this level. Heard on BBC Suffolk how people shouldn't blame Greaves...well I'm sorry but he is nowhere near being of the right quality for this league.

Agree it was a good hit but it was totally savable. Best league in the world innit.

I know that was then, but it could be again..

You can’t be serious? At fault for both goals. Looks miles off being good enough for this level and that was obvious from the first time I saw him in preseason. Hope I’m wrong but could be a major issue.

Lets be honest he looks no better than Alex Palmer or Walton. First goal has to be saved and second he makes easy by coming off his line. Needs to improve

This sums it up for me.

Let's give the lad a chance.

No denying he has made a few mistakes already but let's not judge him too quickly.

You see that liverpool keeper. He spilled a few balls. One we should have taken advantage of.

Would you say hes a good keeper overall tho?

Crikey Allison is ten times any keeper we have.

And you miss the point completely. All keepers make mistakes and when they lead to goals they will get a lot of attention. Allison easily could have had one against him tonight.

If Scherpen continues to concede goals that he should be stopping he won't last and Walton will finally get his chance in the Premier League. But let's not write him off too quickly. That happened with Muric and proved very costly for the team too.

In real time, he did well to get a hand on the first.. standing in lower north, I've never seen a ball fizzed in that hard, for someone to take a touch then thrash it in. Credit where credit is due to the attacking side in my book.
