I know we have lots of options unavailable but that seems like the line up of someone who knows he is leaving & doesn’t care

We have Earl and Wilson yet will play Skuse at centre back?

And McGavin parachuted in from nowhere in midweek to start... doesn’t even make the squad a few days later.

...or someone who's been coasting on his ill-defined rep for 'working wonders off the pitch to Give Us Our Club Back' who doesn't actually ahve a clue what he's doing.

There is something seriously wrong when you can look at the starting eleven and not have a clue as to intended formation. Which in any case will probably be change within 15 minutes as it isn’t working.

Regardless of financial cost it is beginning to look as if we simply cannot afford not to replace the manager.

Is that a 4-5-1 with 4 CMs and Sears up top on his own? No winners on Lambingo today I imagine.

Could be 4-1-4-1 with Skuse in front of back four and Sears as lone striker. Whatever it is he will change it soon enough.

Lambert is aware that there is no chance of us making the playoffs, and that he will be sacked at the end of the season. Looks like he is just p1ssing about with the team selections at this point just for the sake of it.

It's a good job he had that blip at the start of the season, or we'd be looking at a second relegation in two seasons by now.

Holy dropped again I see?

Get this fraud out of my club. I’m sick of him.

No continuity, no point.

Holy deserved to be dropped. Let in two soft goals in the last two matches and was recklessly out of his area a couple of times against Blackpool.

As per the thread I'm not exactly lost for words, but this seems like a man wrapping himself up in a white flag doesn't it?

Could be a 3,4 or 5 at the back and midfield on paper and something entirely different on the pitch once the game gets going and no one would really be able to tell.

Feels like this is his best chance of a Swansea away, where the only hope of a rare win is extraordinary conditions and the unexpected going our way.

Skuse at CB?

------Chambers---Skuse--Woolf
Edwards-----Nolan---Dozzel----Garbutt
----------------Bishop----Judge
----------------------Sears

Wingbacks would make most sense or otherwise we look stuffed for width plus Edwards really doesn't convince as an RB and Garbutt and his delivery seems wasted so far down the pitch at LB.

We've effectively got 2 defenders, 7 midfielders and Sears who seems unlikely to be able to lead the line. I'm not saying we absolutely can't get it to work but looks difficult even if we weren't playing the top of the table.

This could get nasty on and off the pitch unless we make it work.

Can see it being a 4-3-3.

Edwards - Chambers - Woolf - Garbutt
Nolan - Skuse - Dozzell
Bish - Sears - Judge

not to mention all the long balls aimed right at the head of their number 6.

Norris doesn’t fill me with confidence but if he at least tries to find a defender or midfielder occasionally it will be an improvement

i’m feeling a 4-2-3-1, with skuse N Doz sitting and not a lot happening ahead of them.

Probably because there's a clause in the loan contract I'd imagine. Holy is better in my opinion and is at least our player, he could have done slightly better with the Fleetwood and Blackpool goals though.

I'd say he's definitely cost us point this week and not for the first time. Don't think changing keeper makes a bit of difference when the rest f the team is the tactical equivalent of knocked over lego.
