Once they learn how to post a link I reckon.

Here it is...

Supporters Club: Seeming Stagnation of Our Club Must Not Be Allowed to Continue 30th Nov 2020 12:27
The Ipswich Town Supporters Club has issued a statement outlining its frustrations regarding a number of issues, including what they view as the “seeming stagnation” of the Blues under Marcus Evans’s ownership, a lack of communication and the banning of TWTD’s Phil Ham from press conferences. 44

Feel like we quite need the club's current trajectory to be "disrupted"

It can certainly be read that way, which is bizarre given they are meant to represent a fan base where 90% plus want a change of manager.

What a rubbish statement.

Clearly don't really have any idea what the general supporter is feeling at the moment.

Pointless statement and doesn't represent the mood of the fans at all. The state of us.

Have we got an unofficial supporters club?

Feels like we should have if this is the representation we get.

They didn’t have to go out of their way to cry stability though. Leave it out and let people read into it what they wish - and if that’s a lack of support for the manager then so be it.

Yeah, fair point. I guess I'm just not expecting anything from them as I've never seen them challenge the club.

Yeah Blue Action. They've done more in their short existence than the Supporters Club or Trust have ever done.

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

Joe (ITFCjoe), weren't you involved with this at some point, the supporters club, not the statement.

Can you not advise that this statement is not good enough and meaningless, in fact it could potentially do more damage by giving club false understanding of the general mood of fans.

We really are a shambles at the moment

Occurs to me that "sacking Lambert = disruption" is probably the club hierarchy's line too.

Indeed. It's a rubbish statement because it does not speak for the vast majority of supporters. They come across as Marcus' cronies. Seriously pathetic stuff.

It's incredibly poor. Not even nailed a 2/10 for representing fans.

Think that was the trust. Speaking of them this would be a perfect moment for them to speak up for the supporters but again they seem to be missing in action.

Ah apologies Joe, yes was the Trust I was thinking of.

We are going to be stuck with Lambert for a long time unless pressure starts being put on. Without fans in the ground more than ever do we need supporter groups to convey the supporter mood...and the supporters group have failed dismally with that statement which is an absolute waste of time. Frustrating.

Part of me wonders if it was drawn up by the club and passed on to the supporters group rather than the other way round, especially as we know O’Neill is fighting Phil’s corner.

If it wasn't written by the club then it's been run past them.

not the time for further disruption
get back to some semblance of normality
frustrated by the recent performances and injuries
return to winning ways and that those with injuries recover soon

That will give you the clearest insight into what is the current thinking of ME

Tho if they did go all out on "sack the manager" or "the owner should leave", it might just result in contacts and privileges being cut, losing any influence, without any positive leverage or outcome in return.

It's a tricky position being the official supporters group, as they are sort of half on the inside, but only with the club's permisdion. With the best will in the world, can we expect them to come out too strongly against the club's own position or most powerful figures?
