A mate of mine informed me that PC and the gang where all in Trongs last night. From what he was telling me they were all extremely drunk and shouting, swearing etc
He doesn't think this is a good example to be setting.. I for one don't care and think anyone out with their mates is exactly the same... interested to get people's thoughts on this?

Extremely drunk - for me thats not being able to walk very well and being sick in the toilets. I suspect that had a few beers and were just having a night out.

Context is everything.
The addition of "if this was happening" is a nice get out of jail free card on a par with "allegedly" and let's be honest, your opinion of Cook has not been particularly great over the past months.

All I did was state my opinion to the question asked by the OP - if they are loud and f'ing and blinding in a restaurant I don't think it's great personally.
Hardly that controversial surely? We've all been on both sides of that surely - the nobs making the noise and the people trying to have a quiet night getting annoyed by it.
Oh man I used to love Trongs. I wonder if it really is that good or is it just a rose tinted memory.
Always used to have their mixed hors d'oeuvres, which I think is just mixed chinese starters and probably nothing special really, but the quality and care was there and that's what counts. Will ask Paul next time I see him
