Apart from the large outlay on both, don't see why it should mean the end of the pursuit of Crooks. From what I've seen he can play in the 2, as can Harper and Evans.
Those 3 central positions are going to be crucial all season, so having options there will be no bad thing. |

AFAIK - Crooks is off to Hungary with his club, so I don't think they have any plans on him moving on. | |
