I think because so little information out there, people are getting overexcited with some info and joining the dots themselves and making up the details.

What about the fact that a number of the people who were stating on here that it was all but a done deal are posters who have shown in the past to have contacts who legitimately know what is going on?
Folks with that sort of reputation don't get overexcited and post 'def info' unless they're either sure of it, or know that their sources are reliable. | |

Then why move on to someone who is equally unlikely to garner support from all?
They need to realise rapidly you can please some of the fans some of the time but you will never please all of the fans al of the time. The best way to get close is to focus on bringing success on the pitch. | |

If you're the expert CEO you make yourself out to be, you have courage in your convictions and stand by what you believe to be the right choice. Running the club by leaking decisions and seeing what the reaction is will only ever end badly.

Not a good look for the future of this club either. I'd have been hugely disappointed with Harris but at least it would have shown a sense of decisiveness about getting the man they wanted.
I know the owners are American but it's starting to feel we're not far away from the owners making every decision based on a TWTD poll.
And considering how many were happy at the Hurst appointment, how many defended Lambert for a year too long and how many still defend Cook, it doesn't fill me with much confidence. | | | |

Where does this weird narrative keep coming from?
Before Cook's dismissal there were a number of people understandably pointing out things weren't going right.
Anyone would think there had been mass demonstrations outside the ground and threats made to families.
What a load of drama, seriously.
