There was a bit of an apology and retraction afterward to be fair to him, just one of those meltdowns that people have occasionally, don't get me wrong, it was a top class blub but I think forgiveable.

It does amuse me that everybody always assumes that nobody on here has ever played sport to any decent level though, I suspect that's highly unlikely.

And yet keeps getting everything spectacularly wrong, year after year, manager after manager. Was so good he was not only playing at this dizzying level, but going to all these Ipswich matches too. Still, given he didn’t know Klug took over a few games when using statistics to prove how bad Mick was, I think it’s safe to say there’s another one who can be ignored.

Honestly, if I'd have known I had so much sway with the club over managerial appointments I'd have had Roy Keane sacked in October 2009, Paul Jewell at the end of 10/11 and Lambert wouldn't have even gotten through the door!

Has Fishers not been given a chance to come back yet? I think it would be good to have him back with perhaps a little note to be slightly less of a wind up merchant as a lot of people did bite.

However that said but he wasn't wrong on Cook and those that get so easily wound up by him probably need to spend less time on online forums.

I was Cook out and didn't get a mention but perhaps because I didn't post so much or because there was a cut-off I missed (I declared it after Bolton but was prepared to admit I might have been wrong when it looked like he might be turning it around). I suspect it was more that he had listed enough names for his ire than that he was trying to be comprehensive.
