KOA 11:10 - Jan 11 with 6257 views | kingberra | Appreciate I am fairly late to the town podcast scene. Just recently started listening to KOA alongside blue monday. Seems to me to be a good listen, with Andy Warren and Stuart Watson the best aspects. Was just wondering how other people viewed it, especially longer term listeners/viewers?
KOA on 11:13 - Jan 11 with 3628 views | Wallingford_Boy | Never listened to it, I tend to listen to Talking Town, I prefer the "fans angle". But I say listen to them all, its all about the club we love, so if you enjoy it, listen to it. There will always be those on here saying one is better than the other, but room for all I say.

KOA on 11:25 - Jan 11 with 3551 views | OsborneOneNil | I like KOA, except for the host. Tries to be a bit of a comedian, and he isn't. Andy and Stu are sound though.
KOA on 11:25 - Jan 11 with 3558 views | Strimmer | I listen regularly to KOA and Blue Monday. Both serve different purposes very well. For my money there's no better dispassionate analysis to be had than Stuart and Andy's. Watson particularly as he's not a Town fan, and I think its key to have that slightly removed perspective. Not always 'correct' or do I agree, but they show their working and don't rant which I like. My only gripe is the chit chat sections from the presenter Mark Heath which often stoop to absolute basic office cooler levels of banter. Should pineapple be on pizza, is Die Hard a chirstmas movie, that sort of thing. Real sub-Heart FM stuff. They've got more professional over the years though, there was a time when you'd get a clear 20 minutes talking about game of thrones or line of duty before getting to the football which was frankly abismal. Blue monday a fantastic revolving cast of town fans with good knowledge and interesting opinion. Benjamin Bloom who I think is the founder is a fantastic podcaster, his success as a Championship generalist youtuber is testament to that. Not a gripe as such but one of the main cast has a verbal tick where he ends every sentence with 'for goodness sake' which is burned into my brain now. A good bunch.

Is Watson not a Town fan? Blimey. You learn something new every day.

KOA on 11:28 - Jan 11 with 3508 views | Churchman | I too am pretty late to podcast stuff. I picked up on the ITFC ones only in the summer. They vary for me, but by and large they’re a good listen and the people that do them do a good job.

Could be wrong here but I believe he's Forrest. And yeah, a pro journo who rocked up at the EADT early career and stayed. So he's got love for the club no doubt but ultimately his perspective is one of an outsider and I think that's what elevates him.

KOA on 11:42 - Jan 11 with 3326 views | unstableblue | I really like the BlueMonday podcasters, and they provide a nice mix of analysis and fan perspective But I do think that Andy Warren and Stuart Watson are providing some high quality reporting and analysis of Town at present; think they provide a really balanced perspective on matches, and both have a good style...they are great double act as well, good chemistry. Andy Warren has really improved through this season. Rossmedia (sic?) video content also positive.

KOA on 11:50 - Jan 11 with 3248 views | ITFC_Esquire | I tend to float between KOA and Blue Monday. Prefer the more professional aspect, and I think I lost a lot of respect for TT when I found out cruncher seems to just make things up for attention, e.g. his twitter page over the transfer window! Love KOA, and agree hutch and Watson are the best part by some distance… think we are pretty lucky to have those guys in general. I do have to say though (without wanting to hate on one of our own) I just feel that for a professional podcast they could at least have a town fan who knows anything about football. I find Ross to lack even a basic understanding of the game and don’t even get me started when he continues to intentionally mispronounce hladky’s name and just call him “whatever his name is”.. just cal him vas!!!

I don't think he's much of an Everton fan though. I remember him saying he was as a kid, but if both teams played, he'd want Ipswich to win

I found myself counting the 'for goodness sakes' this week. Still - an excellent podcast. Blue Monday and KOA for me, although I occasionally dip into Talking Town out of curiosity. Don't usually stay there long though. [Post edited 11 Jan 2022 12:03]

Though the correct Czech pronounciation is Vatslav. But whether Czech footballers call him Vats or even Vatsy, who knows.

I agree with that, can't say I listen religiously but there was a spell where the podcast would pretty much perfectly fill a regular commute I was doing to a client in the middle of last year and Benjamin Bloom was fantastic.

Agree, they are the two podcasts I listen to. While this is a difficult time for local jounalism Stu and Andy are very good at what they do. Mark Heath really adds nothing to the conversations.
KOA on 12:28 - Jan 11 with 2883 views | fredbarber | Agree with generally with the comments, I would have the pod just with Andy Warren and Stuart Watson. Both excellent and lucky to have them two cover Town The presenter Mark is not funny and Ross never adds any insight at all, just copies and pastes the same comments, Would be over the moon if it was just Andy and Stu, save me trying to skip through. KOA on 12:34 - Jan 11 with 2834 views | JohnWarksTash | KOA and Blue Monday are both decent listens. TT drives me mad.....I perceive they have this attitude that they are an important fan voice and seem to have the view they are celebs within the ITFC community....which I find a little desperate. Stick to the real journalists in my opinion :)
KOA on 12:35 - Jan 11 with 2830 views | iamipswich | As others have said, Stuart Watson and Andy Warren are great. They speak very well about ongoings on the pitch and off it. They do give a little additional insight on things such as transfers which you wouldn't get from fan podcasts. Mark Heath is ok but does need to let everyone know that he's 'prone to hyperbole' and 'a fighting man' at every opportunity. Not really sure why Ross is there tbh (except maybe for the 2 minute segments on the Women). All he does is echo what Watson and Warren have said in their articles. Doesn't provide any useful insight or articulate the more fan-based opinion in the same way Mike Bacon does. Seems a nice chap though and is good with camera in hand.
