Exclusive: ITV News understands Prime Minister Boris Johnson had a birthday party during the first lockdown in 2020 despite rules forbidding social gatherings indoors at the time. Read the full story by @PaulBrandITV: https://t.co/fs9M1LUF8k
It does cause reason to question just how dumb the pair of them are. Either they are incredibly dim, or have no grasp of the implications of what they have done.
Surely it must have occurred to them that once one or two revelations of the parties were leaked they must have known who was responsible (Cummings) - and that he would continue to leak more......each week ?
Each one on its one may just have been excused. But to have a culture where it was a regular thing would never be excused. But to compound that with blatant lies to try and cover up what is blindingly obvious to all but this gruesome two some, and a similar pair of weirdos (Dorries and Fabric unt).
And there is every though (as I stated previously) there is more to come.
Anyone with any sense would have bailed out ages ago. They might have even gained the grudging thought that 'well at least they did the honourable thing'.
But continuing with this Parrot Sketch level of absurd lies and denial will leave them with Ceaucescu levels of contempt and hate when they are finally booted out.

Number 10 admitting he was at the party but only for 10 minutes.
This breaking the law for “only x minutes” isn’t the defence they think it is
Not something you would use in a rape case, drink/drive or burglary.
What cynics might suggest is that if the bloated one felt that 10 mins was 'enough' then why did he not end the celebrations then. Responsibility rests with the person who is deemed responsible, in control.
In all these cases far boy has stood by and allowed proceedings to continue
listen at 24 secs
he knew when saying this stuff that he had been part of that 'too many breaches'
on 50 secs
he talks about the minority who flout the rules and tougher penalties for them
get out of No 10, Parliament and this country you lying, bloated hypocrite !

Even Adam Wagner (the QC all over this) has said it was illegal
Nadine Dorries is of course defending the indefensible
If the facts of this are accurate then I can't see how it could have been lawful
It's an indoor social gathering - it lasted 30 mins and the PM apparently stayed for 10. Pre-arranged in a particular room and food was bought. It's obviously not within the rules and nobody from the govt at the time would have said for a moment it was https://t.co/ZXt6wcySTM

Nadine Dorries seems to be locked a fight to the death with the bewigged Fabricant to see who can post the stupidest thoughts on this matter
It appears it's a resigning matter to lie to Parliament, but not to the country (as seen above).
In that clip the overweight oaf hits out at the minority who persistently break the lockdown rules, and threatens dire retribution.
Yet all the time this porky PM was doing just that.
How many parties had he attended before he got up on his hind legs to spout that hypocritical guff ?
Time to take yourself, your two brats and your rubber faced missus and fck off - you lying scumbag.
‘It has emerged Johnson attended a canine orgy at no 10 during lockdown, where he had sex with six of the beasts in a one-hour period.’ Nadine Dorries: ‘This is totally untrue. The PM was there for only 10 minutes and fucked just one dog.’
Peter Bone just defending Johnson on Newsnight. He mentioned the "billions" of people saved by the vaccine roll out and all we could talk about was 10 minutes and a slice of cake. He also said he'd been canvassing the constituents of Northampton and that they all thought Boris was doing a good job and no one is interested in these parties.
I try to keep my political powder dry on here, but listening to Dorries, Eustace, Bone et al makes me wonder if Angela Rayner was so wrong after all.
This mob are shameless.

It is a bit funny, so many Tories saying wait for the report from Sue, before judging.
How about having that public enquiry on how the Tories handled the pandemic, then we can judge.

I thought it was a despicable interview.
Basically said nobody cared about Boris attending parties (a clear lie) and then said that people going to parties that last 10 minutes are going to the wrong parties.
He then told the BBC to stop reporting about the parties as nobody care.
Utter cockwomble.

It's amazing how many Tories are willing to sacrifice the tiny shred of dignity they may have left to defend a dead man walking's indefensible behaviour. There were no grey areas during that first lockdown, no indoor socialising at all. If you were an essential worker you could be at work doing work. That it allegedly lasted 10 minutes is irrelevant, the fact is that a large number of people, including the PM, were socially mixing indoors at a time when the rest of us were being told explicitly that we couldn't do this.
It's amazing how the defence keeps shifting. First it was that there weren't any parties. Then it was that there were gatherings but they were work events technically, even if they looked to us commoners like parties. Now it seems to be that yes, there were social gatherings at a time when they were banned but they didn't last very long and it was his birthday so it's fine. They aren't even pretending that the rules applied equally to us all anymore.

Arrogant elitists that believe people are dumb.
Being honest I haven’t read this story at all. I’m no Tory, but if all it is is someone bringing a birthday cake into the office and singing Happy Birthday then I haven’t a problem with it.
Of course they think that people are dumb. They probably can’t believe they’ve got away with so much and still have people supporting them - they are laughing the most loudest at their new voters. Can’t say I really blame them for thinking that a lot of people are dumb.

Food was laid out, his wife and interior designer were in attendance too. Also reported some headed upto his flat for an after party.
If true, then would be against the law at the time.
Problem is it's not an isolated incident. Read we are upto 17 parties/gatherings atm.

And they've been largely right, sadly. A few of those are waking up now though - hopefully they'll remember all this in a couple of years and not vote in another clearly unfit for office government.
