So now that Scotland has been confirmed as an English colony in law 11:11 - Nov 23 with 6952 viewsbluelagos

Can we now adopt an England first approach to Twtding?

Glassers, DK, Homer et al to have their posts quality checked before posting.

We'd need some volunteers to do the hard lifting / checking so maybe we also limit their posts to 5 a day?

Any objections from the English posters? (Scottish posters / residents can button it)

Can you point us to the BBC coverage of the Tories privatising NHS services in England?

In the week before a key election.

Never mind that (although yes, good point too), I've yet to see any evidence that the SNP are talking about privatising the NHS. Yet here we are with a seemingly false narrative being repeated multiple times on this thread alone.

hmmm, so it's ok to accuse the tories of wanting to privatise the nhs, but when the scottish government discusses something very similar it's a smear against the snp. good to get that clear.

Is there any evidence that the Scottish Government are talking about privatising the NHS? Genuinely interested, as I can't find any.

I’m also finding it quite odd seeing all these Labour supporters rubbishing what the Labour leader and deputy Labour leader in Scotland are saying with regards to this matter.

Privatisation is second nature to the Tories. I don't think the same can be said of the SNP.

I appreciate this thread is tongue firmly in cheek but for realies, Scotland keep voting for SNP and that should tell us something. We need to come to a civilised accord and give them what they want. You can’t force someone to be friends.

55% who voted at the last election did not vote SNP. The SNPO do not have a majority in the Scottish parliament and are propped up by the Greens.

If a UK party pulled 45% in Westminster elections they'd get a 100+ seat majority.

At the 2019 UK GE >50% of the votes went to parties arguing for a second EU referendum.

I believe the Scottish Greens support the call for an Indy Ref.

The Scottish parliamentary voting system is specifically designed to avoid a party getting a majority of seats - coalitions are hard coded into the system.

To characterise the current government as being the SNP being "propped up" by the Greens is disingenuous.

I find it deeply disturbing that he still has a few tory licking simpletons willing to indulge him.
Even that painfully slow bluebadger lad seems to have finally cottoned on to his horrid little agenda.

You just compared 45% losing to 55% in a 2-horse race to 45% winning a multi-horse race, and then went on to accuse someone of being disingenous!

Edit, i've made a mistake there, apologies, as a penance i will leave it unedited lol.

Unfortunately there is something called law in the UK. Decided u[on/ interpreted by the judiciary. Which act on laws made by Parliament.

I know you righties aren't to keen on democracy, or the judiciary as shown in 2019, but for the rest of us that us how it is.

Wee Krankie claimed that Scotlands voice would be heard. It has not been. What has been heard is her voice in court.

If she did not know how the law stood on this matter then she is a fool, or if she did, is a knave. Using deceit and misrepresentation to retain a weakening support for the SNP. Down from 52% (Nov 20) to 44% now.
And still behind with Independence support, as the SNP has been since the last one.

Disgust with the Tory government is one thing, being dumb enough to swallow Farage style lies is another.

Actually I think it is me who is not the sharpest tool in the box. I read it as 55% winning the referendum, but reading it again it was 55% who didn't vote SNP, and therefore 45% wasn't in a 2-horse race.

It’s a two horse race when people are interpreting the Scottish Parliament elections as a proxy referendum vote.

It is indeed, but I was only challenging the point about the 45% comparison - the 55% that didn't vote SNP was split over multiple parties, so the point that 45% for the SNP against all other parties can be compared with a 45% vote for a winning party in a general election, is not unfair.
