This is probably the right answer. He was a junior sprinter, and, if I remember rightly, had a reputed fastest time in the 10.something seconds. Anything under 10.5 puts you in the fastest 7000 men ever:

Of more recent players, Ryan Fraser must be close. Cresswell was used as our last man when we had attacking corners, and he could keep up with any striker lurking at the Half Way line.
