He's not really been on it since coming back from the last injury, but just in terms of numbers this would be a blow. Sounds like Camara and Ball will be fit this season but won't be match sharp and it's asking a lot of Humphreys to play every game. |  |

Regardless if this is true or not, we’ve had some shocking luck with injuries in CM this year. Four out of 6 have had long term injuries:
Evans
Camara
Ball
Luongo
Seems to only be Morsry and Humphreys have escaped it! |  | | |

From that same twitter feed, this season alone we had Woolfenden out for 6 months - turned out to be 2 weeks, and Chaplin out for the season - he was on the bench and scored against Acc. Stanley away the following game.
Wait for the club/manager to disclose these kind of things is my opinion.
*I'm not saying it is true or false this one by the way, I have no idea, but just wait for official club news to comment.
I also am very happy with Humphreys and Luongo as alternatives, subject to fitness of course - I don't think bringing either in weakens us. [Post edited 9 Feb 2023 10:54]

Why would Humphreys have to play every game ? |
Because currently nobody else is fit to partner Morsy. Hopefully Luongo isn't out for long but he's had very little game time this season so doubtful he'll be ready to start week in and week out. If Evans is out for a while, I expect Humphreys will be playing a lot. He's a real talent but he's probably had to play more than we'd have ideally liked. | |
