Anyway, there’s no way the EFL would’ve let the postponement happen without the relevant proof, if there’s anyone to blame them it’s the Jamaican FA.
Still, wouldn’t have wanted to go there without NB and WB, so bloody good job, is what it is.
Just hope we bloody beat them when we do go up there.

I do have a real soft spot for Barnsley - after their play-off defeat at Wembley I thought that they were extremely graceful in defeat. I’m not sure many of our fans would have been as gracious and sporting. The majority of their fans will understand why the match was postponed and conclude that Ipswich acted in good faith.

Not the worst thread I've read by other fans concerning us and they have a point about the process. Where it gets odd for me is the calling for 3 points and suggestions they've been robbed lol, who knows what the outcome would have been had we played on Saturday! They're two very important players but they're not our most important. Jackson has been chosen in similar matches instead of Burns before and then it would be a small downgrade on paper+form for the Broadhead replacement. It's handy for us and if I were a Barnsley fan I'd be fuming to tbh. We've managed to postpone a game due to a player being in an international squad but one who hasn't been playing for us or due to play in the Barnsley game barring an injury to Davis.
But as a town fan. I welcome the break as it gives luongo time to recover.

If they're getting worked up it probably indicates how scared they are of us more than anything. As for me, I think we'll beat them whoever plays and whenever we play them. We have jolly well caught fire in the last few games, and are running very hot for League One.
By the by, I really like Barnsley too; their fans were graciousness personified before and after the play off final in 2000. Super bunch. I can't decide whether I want them or Plymouth to win the play offs. |  |
