I’m not so sure on that - they now have a reputation for looking after loan players and making them better. In the Championship they will be able to attract better loan players, but they will be more expensive to get in.
Also, they have a very good manager. Not so sure they’ll be flirting with relegation. |

Plymouth have been superb, their resilience is to be admired with the challenges they faced (loss of Whittaker, injuries, a couple of heavy defeats) - fully deserved champions and so pleased we are going up with them thanks to our own remarkable run-in. |  | | |

There are two aspects to loans. The financial and the player development (which will often impact the longer term financial ones too).
Schumacher has shown the ability to select the right players, look after them and develop them. I am sure many Premier League clubs will think it is a better place to send a player on loan than many other options. As a result, they may well have more clout in the loan market than many other Championship sides. |  |

Agreed, it will be interesting to see how it pans out but I certainly think Plymouth will be competitive and will surprise a few next season.
I expect they may struggle away from home at times ( as will we probably ), but if they remain strong at home I can see them doing pretty well and staying up comfortably. |  | | |

The amount of points they’ve gained has been incredible. For me, where you finish is where you deserve to be. Today’s win at Port Vale was their 6th win on the bounce, like ourselves they were in good form heading into the run in. | |

That's not always the case the team that finishes top is the best team in the league.I'm old enough to remember the unbelievable season we had in 80/81 Town was streets ahead of Aston Villa beating them three times over the season, and Villa being champions was a travesty. Unlike today ,Plymouth are worthy winners of the league and congrats to them |  | | |

Indeed. They play some nice stuff and have shown they can adapt to losing key players like Whitaker. I’m a bit disappointed nobody has come out with the obligatory ’feck ‘em’ though. We’re having far too much of a love in (when I say ‘we’ I mean the board - just for clarity Herbs and I aren’t having a love-in and aren’t even in touching distance). |  |
