Migrant Breakfast Benefits 13:25 - Aug 9 with 22066 views | Mullet | I get she's a Daily Heil right-wing shill, but apart from this being a classic from their playbook it does raise a really interesting question about using child poverty as political currency doesn't it? Having seen kids who go hungry regularly, it seems a bit odd to do the whole "these barges are too luxurious/not punishing enough" routine whilst highlighting one of the biggest sources of shame caused by the government's approach.

I suspect you may find your weird posting amusing. It really isn't as evidenced by going on about Stokie's mental health.

Migrant Breakfast Benefits on 15:57 - Aug 9 by blueasfook | So? what's your point? We are talking about the standard of the accomodation. It was good enough for oil workers, yet not good enough for illegal migrants? |
They've increased the bed numbers by double what it was for the oil workers so it's by no means a direct comparison

Also, actually challenging the bullsh1t of the 'you can't say anything, why is everyone so sensitive' crowd is bad, because you should Be Kind or something.

I've seen a tweet - but couldn't tell if it was genuine and deleted, or a fake. If she's tweeted that, I'm not sure she can remain. Regardless of the frustration dealing with scum like Anderson might provoke.

It seems the banter bus is not a very inclusive space, more a minibus going to Blackpool for Big Dave's 50th birthday weekender, no girls allowed and the jokes might get a bit blue.

Migrant Breakfast Benefits on 10:38 - Aug 10 with 2549 views | Lord_Lucan | Ok, I'll bite. Personally I think it's a bit ridiculous to summon a boat to hold 500 people when there are the same number coming over every day, it doesn't make any sense to me. 100 boats might work but one is quite frankly ridiculous. However, I don't understand in any shape or form why the accommodation is deemed by some as unacceptable for people who have supposedly fled their country in fear of death. It's safe and warm and they are getting fed and watered while Mr and Mrs normal are having panic attacks every time the postman arrives with another bill. I appreciate that some people just want to moan about everything UK.com does but if this is where we are at then you've run out of material baby.

He doesnt have one. Or if he does, it would probably be some Corbyn inspired nonsense about building 1 million new homes for £100 or something. Oh and give everyone free broadband too.

Actually processing asylum claims so that genuine asylum seekers can enter the labour market and contribute to society and swiftly processing those who have no right to be here would be a good start. I also don't really subscribe to the fact that because the government has stuffed up and half the country is screwed financially that means we shouldn't care that asylum seekers are being effectively interred on barges that the Fire Brigade Union has labelled as 'death traps'. We wouldn't need all this accommodation if we actually had a functioning asylum system anyway.

That isn't really addressing the question. Fire - I have heard something about this but if it was unsafe it wouldn't have got a ticket. The inefficiency of the home office to process the asylum applications is beyond ridiculous, most sane people accept this. Also, it is my opinion that we should open up multiple safe legal routes for asylum seekers for anyone from any nation to come here and we should give preference to women, children and families. But that is another matter. What's wrong with the boat?
