Seem to remember a Pizza Cup game this time last year when the Lower North was unbearable thanks to the Section 6 knobhead contingent moving to the middle and giving Ladapo abuse all night, to the point of signing sarcastic songs about him through the second half.
He then scored late on, and gave them the fingers-in-the-ears treatment, only for them to cry about it and deny what they were doing.

Hladky was MOTM in my opinion. Freddie scored one very good goal. He didn't know anything about the second. His play was very good but he was behind Hladky and Morsy imo. |
Although for his second, his movement was excellent. He lost his marker and put himself in exactly the right place for a cross, unmarked. The cross was too close to the keeper, and then he got lucky, but he'd done everything perfectly had the cross been a foot further out. |  |

I think that's right. I seem to remember looking at League One stats last year, that of the high scorers across all clubs in the division, he had one of the best conversion rates there too. So there's that. | |

Right about the second goal but while he didn't know about the contact, he made some clever movement when he realized he'd gone too far beyond the near post to spin and get back into a goal scoring position. So he should get some credit. |  |

His issue is that he rarely busts a gut when closing down and pressing, Hirst being very good at this doesn't do Freddie any favours.
He'll always score goals, but I don't think it's difficult to see why a lot of people get frustrated with him. |
He brought players into the game a lot.more than Hirst yesterday. The other players seemed to be better once he come on.
I would never say Ladapo doesn't bust a gut. He works hard. Weird how different people opinions are.

Is it really "mocking" the fans? He is simply responding that he is blocking out what is said and getting on with it, isn't he?
I have been disappointed with how Freddie has played this season until yesterday. He just hasn't seemed right. I was surprised he came on ahead of Scarlett. However, as with any true fan, I was delighted for him to score in the cup and then to follow it up with that performance yesterday. It appears to me like he wasn't fully fit or something but now is.
Anyone who thought he wasn't good enough would fall into the same camp as those who say we haven't got enough Championship experience and are an average League 1 side. Ladapo scored 9 goals in a relegated Rotherham side that scored a total of 44 last time he was in the Championship. |
