Your lack of self awareness is really worrying.

You are insufferable.

I’d ignore you if you didn’t take up half the air time on this forum.

Woah hang on.

Honestly you’re either thick or just love the attention. You don’t ever go to Portman road and only watch on tv and yet criticise others that were at the game. Your opinions on here have brought this forum down you seem to enjoy being provocative rather than giving a fair opinion. I’m all for opinions but honestly give it a rest.

I'll agree with you, but with this caveat:

Glad to see by BlueBadger 25 Nov 2023 19:48
I can almost forgive Frimmers because he appear to genuinely believe the h0rsesh1t he spouts. Wallers is just chasing attention.

It therefore follows that Frimmers is just a bit dim and reactive but ultimately a fan. Rather than someone offering up something a bit 'edgy' for attention. Like Wallers does. Or like you've been doing all week with your 'jungle' posts.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I'm not saying the first part isn't true but he definitely also, like yesterday's Burns post, writes things to deliberately role fellow fans (or actually I think more to get attention. Which is incredibly sad and a bit tragic to be honest).

I have felt some of the stick he's had recently has been very unfair and tedious. Then I see his posts last night and see how much effort he's making to lean into his reputation.

Sadly he has fallen into the trap of thinking he needs to take the contrarian view on everything for his view to be valid.

Truly impaired.

Not really. Prefer a win. Or at least a performance when you don't.

Least I'm here every week unlike some who pop up only when we don't win.

Those thriving however are those desperate to be seen as superfans. Seeing who can gain the most uppies by being as super positive as possible.

Hope you had a good day out tho sitters regardless of the result.

Nothing to do with votes, all about being a football supporter of a football club. Not over the top when we win, not bed wetting when we lose. You however always seem to have a hint of negativity, even when we win. You are a strange fella.

....I would stick up for him, particularly when a certain couple of posters would just steam into him at every opportunity, and not always when it's deserved.

But he's just being a bit of cockspanner now.

for the most part he has been a decent poster over the last few months - but his determination to find fault over the last few games, and the relentlessness of sharing those views, is pretty tedious.

I disagree with a lot of what he says, agree with some. Happy to have a conversation about difference in opinions and we have done in the past.

If people are so triggered by someone posting hot takes , you could, you know, just not open it…

Agree - feels a bit like bullying given everyone has been piling in today and yesterday. As you say, just ignore him.

Surprised someone above has been allowed to call him a d*ckhead too by the mods.

I don't disagree that he's off the mark about the game yesterday but just place him on ignore or don't open his posts. Strange that people can be so triggered seemingly by something so trivial.

If you go through life being triggered by people spouting rubbish you wouldn't get out of bed in the morning!

FYI I agree with you and think a lot of what he says is rubbish tbf, it's the name calling and group mentality I object to.

For all you know or we know he might have some mental health issues or be going through tough time.

I think we're all disappointed after a defeat, but for some it cuts quite deep in the immediate aftermath and they have to offset that somehow with scoring some internet points, and that's what happened there.

Interesting

You haven't seen the posts again asking for posters to basically be nice? It's odd.

And I've not seen any posts from anyone including myself who sees anything as panic stations either. Just discussions about a poor run of performances.

I'd agree if he wasn't deliberately starting incendiary posts. On the day we lost our first game in a long time he started that Burns post that was screaming for negative attention.

If he just had terrible judgement and was complete clueless alone I would say leave him to it and might be some uncalled for comments.

I'm sorry though he's gone after it. Deliberately pushed buttons for attention

"over positive"? I neither go over the top when we win, or pick the team apart when we lose. I am a rather positive person in life. Don't see the point in looking on the dark side of live. Glass half full type of fella. I find you as a glass half empty type. Nothing wrong with either, just a different outlook on life. As for football, I don't take it as seriously as some. I go when I can and enjoy the game regardless of result. I find it hard to criticise any Ipswich player or manager as I know that they are trying their best. If you want to pick the team apart, then that is your right, but don't be surprised if people disagree with it.

Not people posting the problem, just negativity about a side sitting second in the league and far, far outdoing my expectations. We can't win every game and I won't try and look for scapegoats when we do. If you want to, then please carry on. We are just different types of person. Nothing wrong with either, but I would rather have my outlook than yours.

Agree with you - and it's very difficult, to say the least, to swerve his posts as he's so ubiquitous on the forum.

However - I think it's really poor form to call him (or any other poster) out in this way - creating a thread which headlines somebody is unpleasant & uncalled for imho. Ditto the language at & about him, as someone's already mentioned above.

The attention is gained from the replies and starting threads like this too.

Wallers gets little attention because very few bite now. If people didn't pile on, the threads wouldn't carry on rising to the top of the forum.

Fair point. I'm going to do what many have suggested and block them. Apparently a better experience. I don't like doing that because generally I prefer a balanced perspective. But they both sit too far outside of anything now.

Suggest others join and we'll see what the effect is.

I don't think you have to put them on ignore even, just don't reply and don't keep opening a thread that irritates.

If no one replied the thread would seen disappear.
