Rubbish no Overated and inconsistent. Yes.
Burns is good at what he does. That is pace, being direct and cross / shot. He doesn't have all the tools in the box say of Philogene but that's fine. He focuses on what he is good at and is very successful at that. If teams set up to nullify that then he can be more limited but it doesn't make him inconsistent.

All of Burns' shots are more accurate than your posts.
He was our stand out player in his first season here. POTS, top goal scorer. Rightfully recognised with his inclusion to the Wales squad. 8 goals and 11 assists in the League last season. When we utilised both sides of the pitch with the arrival of Leif.. Is an excellent return. And a great contribution to our promotion. This season is youngish. I mean, the stats for Wes are lower. But we've been up against a much better class of opposition. And when he's not providing assists and goals, he's still a foil for the likes of Chaplin or Broadhesd or even Clarke/Williams to find space.. Add to that, his playing relationship with some of our other key players, like Chappers, Hirst, Morsey. He , imo, helps to get a bit more from those.. When we talk about consistency, absolute consistency. That is a rarity in any player. We are lucky to have Davis and Morsy for their absolute consistency levels.. Most others will have the odd , less than perfect game, or moment... Use Hirst as an example, there. Could probably have put away 1 or 2 chances he's had to score. But he is still integral to the way we play, as is Wes, imo. Who, for me, is still improving under KM. And getting more and more streetwise, too.

I was told at the time it was between £100k and £150k, which is probably about right as CEO's like to talk down fees like he did last night!
But I've mentioned before, that I'd say he's our best 'pound for pound' signing we made.....Morsy and Walton fees were similar but they obviously had good Championship wage packets alongside them
Burns has been absolutely fantastic
I'm not sure why Ashton would talk down £100k/£150k to £60k. It's much of a muchness in footballing terms, and even at the top end of those figures it's still a steal.

Utter nonsense. Like all players, he will have quiet spells for a couple of games. Broadhead is going through one at the moment. But Wes is one of our most consistent performers and performs more times than not.
Like Morsy, take him out of the team and we are nowhere near as good as when he's in it.

Bizarrely, though, sht hasn't happened at FPR. It's been the complete opposite of sht. Most League wins in a calendar year in a near 150 year history kind of stuff.
And you actively want one of our players to fail, and mock those who get excited because he scored a goal which could put him (and his teammates who contributed to it) in the running for the Puskas.
A player, who, the thread reminds us, cost us less than a month or twos wages to Chopra, or any of the other mercenary wasters we have had to put up with in recent years.
A player who gets on well with his teammates, plays with a smile on his face, and has come back from injury recently.
There is nothing to dislike about him, as a Town fan, and yet, remarkably, you find a way to wage a one man campaign of sniping and sneering at him.
It's very odd behaviour.

Frimmers makes a hot take, it goes wrong, then instead of holding his hands up he doubles down at every slight opportunity he thinks he can get to show there was some merit in his thoughts.
He called Burns "whackaball" and so has undermined him ever since. Even after scoring one of the greatest goals in our history Frimmers has to take the shine off it... and it's all because he (Frimmers) got it wrong.
The thing about trying to 'save face' is it doesn't really work if everyone can see that's what you're doing.
