True, that's why they have to really price this right, £5 for kids and £10 for adults.

The challenge would be agreeing it with Maidstone. They'll be (quite rightly) more concerned with their cut of gate receipts, rather than focusing on what pricing structure will generate the biggest crowd.

20,000 attendance at £20/£10 will generate more for them than 29,000 at £10/£5.

Good draw. At home. Best to get a lower ranked team or a top one. Happy with that.

Yes, not totally in our hands and the FA will have their share as well.

I seem to recall we had a dispute with another club at one time for ticket pricing in a cup competition.

I'd hazard the tickets will be closer to £20/£10.

We'll probably still sell over half of the tickets, which would result in a greater net income than at £10/£5.

There's phenomenal demand for tickets from Town fans at the moment, and Maidstone will be able to leverage it as being one of the biggest games in their history (as far as I'm aware).

If this was at Maidstone I could see this tie getting TV coverage, can’t really see it with us being the home team. Just won’t be as much interest.

potential 5 or 6 goals, second string out, happy days....£10 a ticket, full ground.

£10 a ticket but give Maidstone all of the SBR, they're bound to want 5000+ tickets, great atmosphere.

As good as that sounds (I assume you mean the SAR rather than the SBR?), I can't see them going for that. If they feel that they can sell 5,000 tickets, they'll want to sell them for as much as they reckon their fans will be willing to pay.

Barring a catastrophic upset this will be as far as they go, so they've got to maximise the sort of payday that will probably fund the rest of their season.

The problem with kids for £5 is that you run the risk that some will buy an extra ticket just for the additional space.

I suppose so but for a cup tie where you could probably buy a ticket in a " less populated" area?

There are six TV picks available to BBC and ITV - obviously Newport or Eastleigh v Man Utd (if the latter get through), Spurs v Man City, Chelsea v Villa and Fulham v Newcastle will be picked. Probably Liverpool v Norwich or Bristol Rovers too. But name the sixth. Sheffield Utd v Brighton? West Brom v Brentford or Wolves? If Wolves had got through without a replay, maybe. But as it is...

Will that attract a much higher attendance than double that, though? Considering, it's difficult to get a ticket at £30+, those who want to go will probably pay £20 a ticket. It will be interesting to see what they do.

I think it more likely to be 15k vs 14k but will be interesting to see what size crowd we do get.

It’ll be £20 a ticket for adults, and the ground will nearly sell out. At least 25k in.

It is pretty tough for a casual fan to get into PR at all at the moment.
