I remember watching Proudlock play against us and thinking how much he looked like he had natural talent, thought he was going to be another Lee Trundle.
Was in the very small minority of people who were quite pleased when he signed for us, and yes, even now have a bit of a soft spot for him and his silly haircuts. (and waistline that looked similar to mine)
In terms of player, Paz. Always thought he looked OK as a player, but came in with such enormous hype that he was always going to struggle. didn't we pretend he was our million pound South American silver bullet when he arrived?
