Though in the world of Trump statements like the democrats will stop all oil being drilled and it will be the end of America if the democrats are re-elected, it seems you can say what you like now with no justification. |  |

I hear the one or two decent players they have left want out. I honestly think they could be in trouble this season. They have 1 pt from 2 games. Early to say I know but extrapolate that out to 46 games and they are looking 23 pts lol. |  |

The majority of them would obviously say we have over spent and could be in financial trouble. Which of course given our backing is weak at best. Whilst we improve our team this summer they are selling off all their “so called” better players. Sara undoubtedly was decent. Rowe no so much but funny all the same he can’t wait to get out of there. Simply put they are on the decline and we have risen above them. A FA cup draw would be the only way we would play them of course and would be on the Xmas list for sure.
It’s going to be tough for them integrating new players after sales to key players. Realistically even the most optimistic fan will know the latter play offs is as good as it gets. I expect they will settle in mid table somewhere for the next 10 years. |  |

Just look at us and Leeds. We are now a richer club. Wealth almost entirely depends on whether you are in the Prem or not. If we get relegated and Leeds go up, then Leeds will be wealthier club again. If we go down, then we will be wealthier than Norwich with a better squad of players, but probably without our mastermind manager and perhaps without the same magic of team spirit we had over those 2 promotions.
The measure I prefer to look at is that compared to where the club was before promotion to the Prem, even if we get relegated, we are in so much of a better situation. | | | |
