Natural goal scorer.

Would probably do a job for us in the Prem with the delivery he’d now get.

RIP Sir Bobby

What I like best about Norwood is that he’s got 200 professional goals more than Bluebadger, which is a great yard stick for level setting.

That is a bit of a Forum running joke, but I suspect there are those at Portman Road who would agree in terms of his lifestyle being more non-league than League One or Championship.

Think that's a bit harsh on Norwood. Always gave his all when playing for us. He had one of our worst ever managers in charge of him, so considering that, he didn't do that badly for us. (not for one second would I defend his off the field behavior)

I think you might have missed the tone of that old boy.

He was certainly sh1t, greedy and unprofessional but it’s funny looking back how he was lauded like a Wetherspoons Eusebio whilst he was here. Especially when you look at what we had before and after.

Oh dear ! Here come all the sanctimonious comments.
I've never seen one of our ex-players get so much criticism from our now elite" "fanbase!"
I'm pleased he's doing well and I was always pleased to see him play for us. He never gave less than 100% and he did it with a certain attitude that I admired too. Always remember when he came on at Wigan and scored after months on the sidelines.
But there's a bandwagon rolling here that started soon after Game changer came in, and woe betide any town fans who don't toe the line, eh?

Bar Downes probably the best player we had during his first two years, and the only striker at the club able to play McKenna ball.

Fashionable to call him rubbish though.

So able he disappeared quickly. Jackson got the contract extension.

He didn't disappear quickly. Kieran liked him, played him and was very respectful towards him. And when Norwood left he was also respectful to Kieran and the club. Plenty of effort and goal to game ratio pretty impressive. Many more players who've fleeced us and contributed much less who maybe we should deride more. Never heard one of his fellow professionals slag him off. Thought he did a decent enough job for us in a pretty miserable period.

Don’t let that get in the way of a good scape goat session though. I always liked the lazy trolling calling him, “fat” from all the out of shape lads on here when he was anything but.
