Ouch. Not much attacking threat on that bench. Shame the illness gone for the likes of Szmodics.

Poll: Do you think Pert is key to all of this?

Getting worried about Greaves. Still no sign of him.

I was thinking of an away win but I'm not so sure now. Very weak on the right.....

Sammie one of the ill players I'm assuming, not
sure about Hutch on the left,a long way off our best playing squad, stupid illnesses and injuries!

Six league one players in the team!

They'd all laugh at me if they knew what I was trying to do. To create a new strain of super-wine in half-an-hour with a fraction of nature's resources and a FOOL for an assistant. 'Bernard Black, he's mad,' they'd say, 'he's insane, he's dangerous.' Well I'll show them! I'll show them all!

Can only imagine he's ill, otherwise surely he'd be on the bench over the lesser spotted Woolfenden?

Must admit he looked a bit off it generally when was doing drills on the pitch with Woolfie at the last home game. Still beggers belief he was played a full 90 mins in a game. Unless there was no choice but yo play him.

Im assuming Szmodics is unwell?

Bit harsh.

Burns and Clarke have played down the right plenty of times together. Clarke is quite happy to drop one in behind the full back for Burns to chase.

No qualms with any of the other backline although Muric needs to be switched on.

Midfield is expected. Shame Phillips doesn't seem to be up to full fitness but hey ho.

Chappers has looked like Chappers of old in recent games.

And then Hutch and Delap as expected.

I’ve been wondering where he’s been. Played vs Palace then not in squad for last 2 but unless I’ve missed it KM hasn’t mentioned him by name as injured again

Yes they have but they were poor together v palace.

Hutch or chappers have never really shined in the left role imo.

Let's see.

It's not a lineup that screams a win. But let's see what happens.

That's the spirit.

It's the line KM has picked from his available squad. Not sure poor would be the first word that comes to my mind.

Distortion becomes somehow pure in its wildness.

It's unbalanced. One of two left footers being used as an inverted left forward. Doesn't really work.

He be better of putting j clarke on the left telling davis to be a fullback and let clarke hug the line whilst paying oshea on the right with hutch on the right having oshea defend and hutch inverting from deep with wolfy at rcb with Chaplin behind delap

From the squad available.

Feels a bit weak to me - these injuries etc are killing us. I’d have thought maybe Broady on the left and 10 or right. Expect that’ll be what happens 2nd half. Oh well COYFB !!! 💪🏼

Because J Clarke has looked so much better than Hutchinson and H Clarke have done together on his appearances in front of Davis?

Muric very fortunate not to be dropped. Needs to show McKenna was right to keep faith and cut out the avoidable errors, which have cost us 4 points this season.

Hence why I said have him hugging the touchline which hasn't been his role for us because if he does that then davis can't be davis.

But I think we rely to much on our left back for creativity. So why not let clarke J be clarke and do what made him a target to begin with.

I hate that "L1 players" term. They are Premier League footballers who have worked their nuts off through the leagues to get there. Not all players spend their entire careers at the very top. Even Kevin Keegan started at Scunthorpe, did that mean he was always a Third Division player who just happen to be European Footballer of the Year? Was Marcus Stewart a L1 player because he'd been at Bristol Rovers then in tge Championship with Huddersfield?
