But it seems KM is being brave in sticking to his plan for developing players. Will it be enough? Is this guy likely to have an impact like Omari or Delap? |  |

Yup, suspect it’ll be a figure around that. Also helps that Carrick, - who will obviously be loathed to lose him - will probably be putting more of a word in for him to come to us, than Palace given his relationship with McKenna, if both sides do agree a deal.

He has had an impact at senior level in games before for Liverpool.
Had some good games for Scotland against good opposition.
I watched him play vs Bayern Munich in pre season a while back and he left Alphonso Davies for dead. He is absolutely rapid. [Post edited 3 Jan 19:45]

Likewise. That's why the Godfrey deal makes so much sense.
Doak is still a raw talent but just one of those that if it goes right would be jackpot for the club. A bit like Delap I think in terms of ceiling. | |

Where a buy back clause is agreed, the buying club will be getting the player at a lower fee than without. So it will often depend on available finances.
Do you pay 25% more for future surety, or keep the extra millions for another player deal? | | | |
