As a player or as a fan, I'm used to going into games against higher status opposition knowing that if we give our all, do it with a decent plan and an iron-bound togetherness, and have a little bit of luck on our side, we can win.
What seems nuts to me, is having a defeatist attitude going out on to the pitch at 0-0, with 90 minutes of opportunity ahead of you. | |

Got to be honest, I find it very hard to make a case for us winning at Villa. Right now i'd settle for a narrow defeat and a better performance.

Agree that this period was not very pretty but that was required to preventing us being relegated. I would settle for 3 defensive midfielders now. Not necessary to play them all at the same time but we need high energy defending in our midfield for the whole game which is sadly lacking at the moment. |  | | |
