I wouldn't describe 2 out-of-contract players leaving and 3 or 4 players being sold as a fire sale.
I think it is highly likely Delap goes and quite plausible 3-5 others do too. A lot will depend on the level of interest in which players too. However, most relegated clubs lose some of their better players to established clubs and promoted ones. Leeds went down with every intention of bouncing straight back but last several and faced constant speculation over the better ones they didn't lose.
The important things are to get good value for those that do go, spend the funds wisely and build a team with partnerships (something we haven't managed this season). | |

I agree. Rutter, Gnonto, Hamer, Trafford, Armstrong, Sulemana all cost / were valued big bucks and stayed for at least a season in the champ, no reason why all but Delap wouldn’t. [Post edited 12 Apr 11:32]

For example, I think it very likely that Harness will leave but I also see it possible that we see several attacking wide players leave and Harness is kept as a squad option for next season. He is definitely good enough to be a squad player in the Championship as he was for us last season when we finished 2nd with him making 34 appearances. | |
