Goodbye Mass 13:55 - May 23 with 2876 views | jasondozzell | And thank you. The last piece of the jigsaw puzzle in 22/23 when he arrived. Immense last season too. I remember writing this after Forest Green at home in Feb 23.
Goodbye Mass on 13:57 - May 23 with 2232 views | BseaBlue | After the Evans years of cycling through players that purely came to collect a cheque/begin their stages of retirement, it has been hugely refreshing to have a player like Mass hasn't it? He's one of those players that walks off the pitch and you can tell from looking at him that he has literally given it everything. Turned out to be a superb signing on a free. Thanks for the memories Mass!

Goodbye Mass on 14:02 - May 23 with 2128 views | mellowblue | Excellent footballing brain, reads the game so well. Knew when to cover Leif or get forward himself. Gave a lot more security on that left side. We have missed him. We always saw the best of Morsy when he had Mass alongside him. Thanks Massimo.
Goodbye Mass on 14:05 - May 23 with 2067 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | What a guy, what a player. All those guys who played a major role in the back2back are legends in my eyes. Be sad to see him go.

Goodbye Mass on 14:07 - May 23 with 2039 views | Radlett_blue | I thought he looked decent when we had him on loan in 2012, but at 20 years of age he wasn't the type of experienced scrapper that Mick thought we needed to keep us up. He's had a decent Championship level career & fitted really well into McKenna's team.

Goodbye Mass on 14:11 - May 23 with 1976 views | SuffolkPunchFC | Definitely a tear in my eye, but i expected he's move on - and it's the right decision. Expect to see him come on towards the end of the game on Sunday.
Goodbye Mass on 14:12 - May 23 with 1970 views | Churchman | I wasn’t a fan of him coming here. Old player seeking pension money and players returning rarely works. But I was so wrong about him, just as I was Wark all those years ago. Luongo has been brilliant. A 100%er. A clever player who you don’t notice but is key to a midfield. A younger version would have made a lot of difference this season. For me he (a few years ago version) was a far more effective, hurtful player than say Cajuste is now who is fragile, looks good and silky skilful, but when it came down to it this season delivered a great consolation goal but not much in assists (stand to be corrected) or digging in when the going got tough. Phillips obviously has played to a higher level than Luongo, but not these days. KP is a mile off in every way and the sad part was I hoped he’d be a better version of ML. Replacing the latter and two loanees is an absolute priority if we are to have a good season. We need better than Taylor too. Keep Morsy (team heartbeat), bring in Humphreys and the midfield start looking a bit more effective. But back to Luongo, we owe him a big thanks. He’s a far better player ‘live’ than he looks on tv and it’s been a pleasure to watch him play [Post edited 23 May 19:14]

Humphreys has been playing in a more advanced role for Wycombe. That doesn't mean he can;t be part of a midfield 2, but is he strong enough? We may get another season out of Morsy in the Championship, but a strong partner for him is vital. Taylor hasn't done enough & I'm not sure what is his best position (maybe the subs bench). We are well stocked in the attacking midfield area, but need another central striker. Hamadi could be our 3rd striker.

Goodbye Mass on 14:27 - May 23 with 1796 views | Woolfenthen | Whoever picks him up has an absolute gem on their hands. Unreal signing, absolutely top notch, perhaps we should just sign all our central midfielders from Middlesbrough! Agree, make him captain on Sunday, modern day Town legend.
Goodbye Mass on 14:28 - May 23 with 1789 views | Reuser_is_God | He completely transformed that League 1 team. What a guy.

Taylor, in hindsight, should surely have been on loan this season playing week in week out, he was only bit part the season before. Interesting that McKenna includes Morsy with Mass (have done well but we need to strengthen in that area) - feels like there’ll be two new starting midfielders. I imagine Cam Humphreys will be given a chance to battle for a place and his versatility will hopefully make him an invaluable player next season.

Fantastic player for us. Will be remembered for a long time
Goodbye Mass on 15:31 - May 23 with 1376 views | sjg | Ipswich legend. I actually voted him player of the season in the League 1 campaign despite him joining in Jan because of how much better he made us I imagine there will be a few we see for the last time on Sunday and I hope they all start.
Goodbye Mass on 15:36 - May 23 with 1328 views | DarkBrandon | What Middlesboro were doing with him goodness only knows. He’s was a joy to watch, and the transfer worked out so well for both us and him. He was so influential on the pitch for a season and a half, and I’m glad he got to be a Premier League player. Good luck Mass
