the general lack of self-awareness, the belief that someone's own views are uniquely objective and correct, and the lack empathy towards others to recognise that their opposing views are legitimately held is a depressing feature of much online discussion. as i say, it becomes very dull. |

I just don't like people siding with the oppressors/the bullies/the liars/the dangers to Democracy.
You tend to do that quite a lot so we disagree which you seem unable to cope with.
In my view you often argue completely out of context and then stubbornly refuse to revise your angle given new information.
When so many were concerned about Trump and his threat to democracy and so many other things we value you went on at length about dangers of left wing views and freedom of speech. Hardly a current issue in the USA and completely out of context.
