Part of me wonders if he will be off, but if not, I hope to see him given some pre season games when hes back and the start of the season.
We missed him massively in regards to corners and some of his saves weren't repeated by those that followed. I know he made some really bad calls. BUT there were many occasions with palmer where morsy, cajuste etc all took short suicide balls from him, but because the end result wasn't a goal, palmer kinda got away with a lot imo.
I think its great for town in that we have 3 fairly solid keepers but all have their weaknesses. Muric for me is the one who you'd hope could be that top goalkeeper he has the skills to be as he has that added physique and i don't have the stats to back this up so ill hold hands up if im wrong, but I felt we were actually better with muric than the other choices despite his clangers. |  |

I'm with you, unless we have decided that his character is suspect and we want him gone then we have to try and rehabilitate him like we did Hladky.

We certainly don;t need 3 senior keepers, so one will go. Muric will be under a lot less pressure in the Championship & given his shot stopping & dealing with crosses, he is potentially the best of the 3. We will also struggle to get our money back if we sell. Walton is the most likely to go. |  |

Will need an interview from KM saying, politely, that last season is history, time to move on, Aro’s a good keeper. That kind of thing. Then perhaps a video released by the club featuring Muric himself, perhaps breaking a smile and saying he’s looking forward to the new season.
Would guess neither of these things will happen and our 9million keeper on a big wage will either go out on loan or be sold for a small fee.
Wonder if the geniuses at goalkeeper.com have any more recommendations for us. |  |

I never like writing players off quickly, however I would be very surprised to see Muric play another game for us (excluding low grade friendlies).
A vast amount of the fanbase have written him off, so the first error will be greated with ridiculous abuse, he doesn't remotely seem to be part of the club at the moment (wasn't involved end of season/doesn't appear involved at the moment) and he probably thinks he's better than the Championship.
Late loan abroad towards the end of August, probably Turkey or equivalent with us sadly paying a large percentage of wages. |  | | |

I cannot see him playing for us again. Although great on crosses and shot stopping - his communication is non-existent. I sit in SBR Stand and I still couldn't tell you what his voice sounds like. This led to the defence having no trust in him. Time to move on for all parties. |  |

Ive not heard anything, but it seems pretty obvious to me that his time here is up. The extent to which he just disappeared from the scene after we signed Palmer is hard to ignore. A mystery injury that just happened to rule him out for the season...... |  |

Whether Muric stays or goes ultimately boils down to whether he still has the backing and trust of his teammates. From what we see on the pitch and social media doesn't really seem like he is particularly well-liked by his teammates and vice versa. Burnley mate said it was the same at Burnley. More like the loner in the squad which has probably killed his chances of remaining at Town

He had a tough start, including pretty much all us fans and a large part of the media blaming him - albeit quite rightly in most cases - for mistakes and goals.
I wonder if he had a more high-profile version of something many of us (including me) have done: starting a new job and quickly realising you're unhappy and wish you hadn't moved. Yes, blah blah professional footballer, should be grateful, wages, yada yada. But still a human being.
