That's exactly my point. Certain posters pick up on rumours like this and run with it. On this thread, the OP posted that it may not be true, but that poster has then posted it on another thread as fact. Others will see that and tell their mates, etc., it quickly becomes a real sh*t game of Chinese whispers, with no real upside. |

It's perfectly reasonable for the situation (if true) to have arisen like this.
Club: Look Omari, we know you want to go and we will allow that. However, we need to get the best price for you and that may mean holding on for a bit.
Omari: Thanks, I will be back at training after my holidays.
Club: Probably best for us both if you don't. We wouldn't want you to pick up an injury which scuppers your move and also deprives us from a large payday.
Omari: No worries, I'll keep myself in shape at home.

Heard rumours Hutch is refusing to train now by Cheltenham_Blue 24 Jul 11:38I don't think anyone is denying he will likely go to Brentford (or possibly abroad), I think what people are questioning is the intent.
Its been framed as though, he has thrown his toys out of the pram and is disrespecting the club/KM/MA, but if negotiations are still taking place, (entirely likely and no rush to meet a deadline until September now), then it make no sense what-so-ever for us to let him get injured either.
But, thats not how it is being put.
