He might be interested but right now he is contracted to us so should be doing his best to help us. If the club are protecting him so he doesn't get an injury to scupper a move and good money for us I get it but the club need to be more transparent IMO. Right now all we know of is failed bids that are way off what we want so is there really anything that close? We should be saying to OH sorry we pay you good money and we need you playing and helping us and in reciprocation we will help you move. Go out and have a MOTM performance, don't you think that will convince PL clubs to invest?
I appreciate there is a lot we don't know but to the outside person it really feels like we are just pampering Omari based on the little information we are being given.
All it does is create uncertainty with fans and for sure this hands BCFC a massive boost for tonight so they now prepare that we don't have OH starting or to come on. They will be buzzing for that. [Post edited 8 Aug 11:14]

I'm lost as to why people feel they are 'owed' such information. The Club communicate fantastically well as far as I can see.
The question is, 'Why do we need to know the reasons Hutch hasn't travelled?'. Assuming he hasn't.

You don't have any right to a running commentary on all of the behind the scenes goings on at the club. They aren't going to go into detail about the situation with Omari but it's pretty clear there's ongoing interest and he's keen to return to the Prem. That's going to impact him and it's going to impact McKenna's decision making as well. Calm your tits. |  |

Of course he's not going to play for us again,so no point travelling. The club would be remiss to risk an injury which could scupper a 40m transfer, and hinder our ability to to reinvest in the squad. Not sure it's a good idea for a player who clearly wants away, to be interacting with the rest of the squad on match day. |  |

Nonsense.
Why should the club say anything, it’s an internal matter that they are dealing with and I trust the people in the know are doing what is right for the clubs future.
If he doesn’t want to play because mentally he is not in the right place, then not travelling is the correct decision. How would threatening him or making the issue public have any benefit to either parties?
If he’s going I’d rather get used to the squad we have going forward.
As for Birmingham, more fool them if they think they are getting a massive boost by him not playing tonight, it means they’re not focussing on the rest of the squad we have, which man for man is better on paper than them. Perfectly calm thanks. Apologies I thought this was a forum but as I don't hold a view 100% to yours you want to have a go at me. Fine. I always knew my post would get shot down as that's how some of you are on here.
I don't want a running commentary, I didn't say I would like the club to be clearer if they could be but appreciate they can't always be, just frustrating and we have to live with it.
It's all much more emotive as we have a difficult game this evening and we are going into it weaker than ideally we should have been. I would just really want OH playing for us while we have him as I know he is off and i know we should protect him but it could be 3 weeks before he's off so we don't play him for all that time? | | | |
