he struggled in the Premiership with us though, for sure you can say he's young but so is Delap, if you had a choice of only one of those two to keep which would you pick ?
it felt everytime the ball went to him last season, he'd either try a touch too many or simply get muscled off the ball, he seemed to really struggle to impose himself on games or make the kind of impact he did in the Championship where defenders just couldnt get near him.
so he's got the talent, the potential for sure, but hes not the finished article yet. |
I don't see it that way. He was just about the only player capable of moving us up the pitch, something we really missed in the Brum match for example.
Not sure he was out-muscled as such, often had two players on him and obviously better players that he regularly skipped past in the Championship.
I'd rather watch Omari as a fan but who I'd keep would depend on a lot of things. |  | | |

Yes a great championship player on his day but that price is outrageous. City want £40m savinho.
Omari will never be as good a player as him.

I don’t have a problem with him wanting to leave and keep testing himself at the highest level. It’s a short career and there are nothing is guaranteed in life.
I do however think he’s shown a lack of respect to his manager and team mates over the last couple of weeks with his conduct. I’m sure he’s been advised by his agent but it’s quite shameful IMO. |  | | |

I saw Savinho playing for Girona before going to City. Looked very good but not a 40 million good there. To say a 21 year old Hutchinson will never be as good as Savinho is plain daft. Put Omari in a decent Premier League team and no reason why he won't be better or have a better career. | | | |

Did you see him playing for Girona? He looked good and with the links between clubs got a move to City where he looked a far better player. He didn't look a 40 million player at Girona but he did at City. I can't see why Omari can't make the same step up. | | | |

He's a difference maker. I disagree I think he's a brilliant talent. Not the complete article but he's a real moments player and in the championship he would be outstanding for us. As he was second half of our promotion season and he is better again now.
Philogene has huge potential despite what some thing but he's not quite up there with Omari though (interesting to remember he was largely seen as ahead of Omari for England U21s prior to injury). We really need Jaden up and firing.
We haven't seen the best of Clarke but really concerned we might not. And he had to get rid of some of these nothing games he puts in when the going is tough. |

Agreed. I’m not sure he’ll ever be a top performer in that league. Unfortunately I do t think he is physical enough. Big strong athletic defenders will gobble him up. | | | |
