I’m with you. Fee is high, but we’ve just sold Broadhead in last year for big money so it’s just going rate. I think his stats are good, comparable with Omari per 90 in last champ season.

Money basically irrelevant at this point for us with parachute payments and what we've made from Omari and Broadhead. Fee is what it is, we're taking him off a promotion rival and he's young. Good signing overall, good cover, and played a good amount of minutes both last season and in the championship title winning season. Smart of us to probably exploit Leicesters PSR issues by snapping up a homegrown. [Post edited 22 Aug 2025 9:18]

I like your positivity Joe on this one and hope you are right but this doesn't feel like good business. He's a squad booster and isn't a bad player but he's not unfortunately a player to really kick us on.
I'm regularly the positive voice in the room but I'm gobsmacked at us throwing that much of our money on that calibre of player. Broadhead was a much better player so that fee now doesn't feel nearly as good.
