| Scum new manager 11:29 - Nov 9 with 4291 views | leftback | Who are they gonna get?, seeing some of the names mentioned are surely unrealistic Robins, Rodgers and O’Neil (just turned down wolves talks) even someone like Carrick will have doubts as their in such a mess, seems Martin is probably best they could hope for, be interesting to see how it plays out but in such a bad situation anyone half decent will know if they can’t turn it around immediately they could quite easily have a relegation on their CV | | | | |

Exactly this, their entitled fan base think they can just go and get whoever they like, when we were in a similar situation we ended up with lambert!
| Scum new manager on 11:53 - Nov 9 with 3173 views | Axeldalai_lama | Will be quite interesting in a rubbernecking a car crash type way. They've tried most types of manager too, and been through a few recently, and they've all been bobbins. They've done foreign, unknown, young, ooh, they haven't done an older name in a while. What's Big Sam up to these days?! | | | |

Martin’s preferred style of football would be disastrous for Norwich in their current predicament. He’d also be publicly calling them out within a few weeks, I’m sure.

It was mooted even at the start of the season that Farke was under presssure and you have to say that is mental I can't see why he would go back to Norwich in their current shape, far more someone like Middlesbrough if he stays in England

They are desperate for it. Hope for a Leeds win today. Think Knapper will be crunching the data and in will come a foreign coach

A club of your standing you can certainly aim higher than a lot of your recent managers. There’s no reason why you can’t attract a famous name with an international reputation who matches your aspirations. What about this guy?

| Scum new manager on 15:44 - Nov 9 with 2075 views | franz_tyson | Would imagine they'd play it really cautious and go for experience. Just to save them from the drop. Who's the new fireman on the circuit now that Warnock and Sam have retired? They got rid of Dean Smith and Wagner when they had the team in the play-offs. Just not sexy enough for the elite Norwich fans. They truly engineered this themselves. | | | |

I doubt they will pay any money for a manager in work, could they become Steven Gerrard or Wayne Rooney Norwich city?

Tbf having a quick look on the Pink'Un most of them seem quite realistic about it all. Suggesting even Carrick let alone Gary O'Neil wouldn't want to go there for example. All roads seem to point to Russell Martin - which could go either way. Not sure if Knappy would want someone who could potentially dig him out in public though. [Post edited 9 Nov 16:55]

Farke will be sacked in this international break imo. They may go for him.

I really don't want it to be Carrick as he's Kieran's mate. O'Neil would probably be a good choice, but sounds like he's still got some credit in the bank where he'd get interest from lowly PL and top Championship clubs. Why would he be interested in a Championship relegation fight? Think I've read that they'll be paying off Thorup until 2027 and Manning until 2029. Costly old business.

As others have said, he may have his sights set slightly higher. I can't pretend to understand the nonsense of PSR but looking at their recent accounts, not sure how much room he'd have to bring his own players in either. Will be at least another year, hopefully more before they are challenging at the right end of the table.
