Sky are reporting he met with them but they failed to agree terms which suggests an offer was there. Also reporting Gary O'Neill having ruled himself out. I would expect they sacked Manning with every expectation of being able to appoint someone with at least as good pedigree and are now realising they aren't the draw they thought they were. It will be very interesting who they get but I wouldn't put it past them to fall on a good fit just like they did when they pinched Col U's manager after being thrashed by them. |  |
