Shirley, the EFL should investigate and if it’s found that Blackburn have inadequate drainage etc then they should be forced to upgrade? If not, then the next time it happens, three points will go to the opposition regardless of what time or score is on the clock.

They can’t even make excuses. I thought it was hilarious how they released a video of an interview with their head groundsman after our postponed match talking about how old and unsuitable the pitch is. Bang to rights. Really, they should be required to sort it now and, yeah, if they don’t why not dock a few points. They’re in no position to complain, they’ve just chosen to not rectify a well known problem.

Rochdale are about to do a 4-5 week rebuild of their pitch including new drains . If they can do that mid season, so should Blackburn. | |
