Bit late though. He was left on to score today.

Aggressive, naughty and intended to rattle... but not dangerous. He got a yellow, stop moaning. Why not try and win the game by being the best team ...11 v 11.

Deliberately treads on player while player is on the ground. Doesn’t have to be a “stamp” to earn a red card, pretty cowardly and I imagine if not included in the refs report may well earn retrospective action.

Not one person has said it’s a stamp. But he deliberately steps on him unnecessarily, and the full weight of an adult wearing football boots is going to hurt. Has to be a ban.

So in summary it was an aggressive elbow to someone’s neck?

Yeah, but O'Shea is Woolfy's mortal enemy, and so Chantryblueboy has to dig him out at every opportunity. It's quite sweet really.

Do you seriously think he puts his full weight on him there? He clips his foot FFS. And our captain and hard man centre half rolls round like he’s been shot

Not all his weight, but more than clip him. And it’s an unnecessary act of aggression. If Leif gets a three game ban, that is as well.

To be fair Dara got up pretty sharpish and looked fine when it became apparent the ref wasn't interested.

Dara too then for pulling his shirt the whole way through even as he was falling? There’s no way that’s violent conduct

By the precedent the authorities have set for themselves with Davis of course it needs to be pushed that this should be a ban. Nobody actually cares one way or the other but Millwall are a promotion rival and we should be leveraging every possible advantage against them. You can pretend you’re too cool for it if you like but in every competitive environment, every opposition weakness or misfortune must be exploited.
| Fck me on 00:01 - Mar 22 with 1082 views | SamWhiteUK | The thing is, it was so obviously going to happen as well. Both players laying there, tangle of legs, you just know he's going to do it. Wasn't at all surprised when O'Shea yelled out - but then I thought, he definitely knew it was coming as well so will have been ready to ham it up Doesn't make it right, of course | | | |

It wasn’t a stamp. If it was as bad as some of the blue tinted brigade are making out O’Shea would have had treatment for a fair while after. He tickled his toe. [Post edited 22 Mar 6:36]

Millwall's next game is away to Middlesbrough though, not sure it helps us if they have their centre forward suspended. Nothing in it for me, certainly doesn't deserve to be banned. You're quite right though, the ridiculous treatment of Davis should (but won't) set a precedent. No consistency at all. [Post edited 22 Mar 8:02]
