| Liam Delap on 12:16 - Aug 20 with 6235 views | nrb1985 | Apparently turned down Como which is unfathomable to me. Obviously amazing location, working with Cesc and CL football - something not quite right with this guy if you ask me. I wouldn't say no but some of the names like Uaeda etc we've been linked with are more exciting. | | | |
| Liam Delap on 12:17 - Aug 20 with 6186 views | portmanking | No thank you. I didn't like the way he and Enciso linked up last time (or the lack of it). The fact we've gone big on Enciso means we need to find a genuinely unselfish striker to bring the best out in Julio. | | | |

| Liam Delap on 12:18 - Aug 20 with 6161 views | J2BLUE | I would try and do a loan with an obligation to buy next season. If he comes here and does well, which he probably would; and we went down, he would likely want to leave again to try and get into the Euros squad. | | | |

Imagine the bookings he’s get in Serie A though.

Just over 400m apparently; hardly unfathomable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/

That's assuming Delap would come back exactly the same and hasn't learnt anything in a year. And Enciso for that matter.

| Liam Delap on 12:33 - Aug 20 with 5662 views | Cheltenham_Blue | I can't imagine that we haven't considered him but can't imagine us moving for him unless on loan, with Chelsea covering a good amount of his wages I'd argue he's an even bigger risk now at £50m than he was when we first bought him. He needs a coach that will help him use the ugly side of his game better, whether or not that's O'Neil, I have no idea. [Post edited 20 Aug 12:34]

| Liam Delap on 12:39 - Aug 20 with 5497 views | burnbudgiesburn | Have a feeling our name is being used lazily in this case. We aren't going to be even paying what we sold him for given his stock is low atm. Crazy that i'm not over excited about the possibility given what he did for us. I'd take a no obligation loan for a season, maybe | | | |

English girls hate being away from their mum especially if they’re having or about to have kids.

Yeah, Uaeda is most exciting for me. Good in the air, and a poacher. Think he'll get goals in our side from others good work.

| Liam Delap on 12:52 - Aug 20 with 5081 views | Litfc00 | Really surprised seeing the negativity towards this link. I personally would love to see Delap back in a town shirt (I would expect him to get a better move tbh) It was only a year ago that the general consensus was he would be Harry Kane’s successor for the next decade. Delap never started more than two games in a row for Chelsea. He clearly excels in a transitional system which I expect us to be. Also regarding the selfish claims - only Leif (43) and Omari (22) created more chances than Delap (20) Como (in the champions league) were trying to sign Delap and they use Jamestown Analytics who are the best in the business when it comes to recruitment. | | | |

| Liam Delap on 12:57 - Aug 20 with 4965 views | PhilTWTD | I asked about Delap last week and wasn't given any encouragement on the prospect. Would be a bit embarrassing to sign him for c£10m more than we sold him for a year on after a season when he's not pulled up any trees. Story looks very speculative - "thought to be among a number of clubs considering". | | | |

Bit strange. You can't really knock a guy if he doesn't want to move abroad away from family and/or wants to stay playing in the best league in the world. [Post edited 20 Aug 12:58]

Fà bregas is a serial hoarder of strikers, when Azón came here they had nine on their books. I doubt Delap will end up here, from reticence on both sides, but I wouldn't be using Como currently as proof of his worth. We saw the potential and maybe at a club like Newcastle or Forest he can start to realise it.
