Must say I had them down for play-offs, but is it possible that in a season where the play off teams only require you to be in the top 33% of the division to qualify... the yellow peril will miss out?
It feels like you can be real garbage for half a season then put a run together so not getting my hopes up just yet

70% loss rate in one of the weakest championships in years. You love to see it. The forehead brothers will be churning out emergency podcasts at a furious pace.

Isn’t Clement one of the best managers in Europe and they will be top 2??

I never really brought it to be honest. The recruitment wasn't outstanding in the summer so they were never going to be challenging West Ham, Wolves, Boro or Southampton and other teams spent a hell of a lot in the summer.
If anything i'm more surprised that Wrexham haven't kicked on.
The dream is that they get rid of Clement, Leicester get rid of Martin and Norwich are somehow stupid enough to appoint Martin, and are duly relegated. I would laugh considerably.

Thing is even if they get in the playoffs, getting in them and winning them are very different things. Especially when they’ll likely have at least 2 of Wolves, West Ham, Boro, Southampton to contend with. Perhaps Burnley who look to be improving. Birmingham, Wrexham, whoever else.
They might scrape 8th if they sort themselves out and stick a run of form together, still think they would be a big outside shot to actually have anything to show for it at the end of the season though. People crow about playoffs but 5/6 of the ‘participants’ wont win them.
They’re so average, both on paper and grass.

Good thing is... top two pulling away. So them thinking their second half season form last year puts them as automatic potentials seems b0llocks. I can see them putting a run together and scraping 8th, but just great to see them losing at the moment and they'll be turning on Big Phil soon.

In fairness (expecting an abuse report again) looking at the highlights from Sky they had a few chances, but a bit of skill down their left flank and a save into the box led to the goal.
Some great chances for Nodge to score but they didnt have the quality. Oh well who cares!!!

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Love their demise, but I think you meant one of the strongest Championship in years

I wonder if they can even afford to sack Clement? They’ve got very few (if any) saleable assets now and they claimed to have pushed their budget to the limit with regards to transfers over the summer. All sounds like it’s spiralling perfectly

I can't stand Boro pains me to say spent the money wisely from hackney on lankshear he's on fire, Good striker will get them to where they want to go, Without him they would be mid table but the playoffs is a joke now, For relative failure your still given a chance at the golden egg, All wrong,

It seems like only a few years ago every crack in the road in Yarmouth had it's bit of green and yellow. Dont see much there now.
