I even had people on here telling me United weren't struggling, although it was obvious even to their own fans at the time. They're awful. It's the one game so far I feel we messed up on, as United were there for the taking, but we made it far too easy for them in the second half. We play a better defensive line now, though.

We didn't have to be as defensive as against City, but the line was still far too high. Even in the first half, I could see the problems, and they almost got in a couple of times if they had a better final ball. It was a matter of time. | | | |

I don't think that carrying them to 15th and 8th in the Premier League and getting knocked out in the group stages of the Champions League is the ringing endorsement you think it is.

We should have been 2, 3, or even 4 up before Nunez’s slip, then came the nonsense handball and we let that affect us mentally and before we knew it, they’d suddenly gone 4-1 ahead.
